Nice, especially the second one. Like the colours a lot.

Reporting back on the Zeiss Ikon Nettar - these 120 folders are cool! Manual everything is really fun. Estimated focus and everything came back reasonably sharp. The lens has its flaws but it's a good bit of kit that costs half nothing and 80+ years old.
There are some light leaks on what I'm pretty sure were the last two shots on the roll, is this a bellows leak can anyone confirm? Or a back door leak?

Wow, nice kind of sharpness and lovely colors in these, love the first two shots.
Have fun with that gear! -

Very nice!
On the leaks, I’m no expert but I’d tend to suspect the bellows first given that they will have been expanded/contracted so often. Odd that it’s just the final two frames though. Unless the light was dramatically different, it might just be that the film wasn’t wound that tightly on the spool so the bit of the exposed film closest to the top caught a bit of light.

I've bought a Yashica MG-1 off of ebay recently. It was sold as untested so I'm not too surprised that the light meter/ electronics don't work at all. I can adjust the aperture and film speed but not much else, the shutter speed is determined by the light meter I suppose. There's the option to turn the camera to flash mode which I believe sets the shutter speed to 1/30. Is there a light meter app that will allow you to determine which film and shutter speed you're aiming for and tell you which aperture to use so that I can set the fucker to 1/30 and tweak the aperture to get the right exposure?

Also, if anyone wants to buy a sort of working Yashica MG-1, hit me up.

Yeah my zenit b doesn’t have a light meter, I use an app called Lux which was free in the App Store. Seems to work ok.
Though until this first roll is developed, I can’t say what the results will be like.

Lol, 3rd dibs ;)
You’re going to need f32 in order to use it outside. Better to find a better camera.

Concur. It's unlikely to be the back door as it doesn't have any seals to degrade.
Bellows is easy enough to check by shining a torch through it in the dark, and then fix with either a sealant or electrical tape.
You should know yourself if the film was wound tightly enough or not.Photos look good @spunk_nautical, hope you track the leak down

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I really need to get my Canonet fixed. It's in storage at the minute though and can't see myself sorting it out until after lockdown.
If anyone is interested in the Yashica, just shoot me a message. -

Many thanks
@NotSafeForSalad
@IanF
@Ste_SI will check the bellows with a torch. The film was wound tight so I'm confident enough the leak is in the bellows going by the advice given here.
These little bellows cameras are proper slept on. 5 pack of Portra 400 arrived today, buzzing to shoot some more.

FilmDev aren’t accepting any new orders for those thinking of posting there.

Fuck really? I posted last week without realising

Me too.

As of the 15th according to their twitter feed. Checked this morning before sending some film off luckily. Posted to AG now instead.
Filmdev seemed to be turning around dev and scans reasonably quickly, suspect they where struggling with postings negs back as that has been slow.

I find the Olympus XA-2 a pain to focus but you sometimes get some gems.
Here is a candid shot I took in the back of a taxi in Morocco w/ Portra 400

That's great

Yeah. It’s a weird camera. I manages to be probably the fastest street camera and sort-of unusable for close work or low light. And a bit fragile.

Dynax 5 below the Portra box? Have been meaning to pick one of those up as they seem cheap, plentiful and good.
