Don’t like Supacaz graphics + prefer plain white to black combo...
-

Thought you we're after something with a fade.
-
• #98704
Yes, but without graphics - white fades to black ;)

Isn't there some really classic tape that graduates between white and colour - white/green, white/blue, etc.

Is anyone on here, or anyones SO a Therapist/Counsellor? My wife is finishing her MSc in Psychology and looking for next steps but it seems a bit of a minefield in terms of how to get to what she'd like to do professionally long term. Anyone who'd be up for a coffee or a Skype with her it would be amazingly helpful!

If you want skinwall and can fit 2.25s, I recommend the Schwalbe Table Top. Knobbly but pretty quick, even at 45 psi. Otherwise, just go with the Big Apples.

Been looking to get some water resistant trousers for working outdoors through the winter. Anyone have experience with a pair they’d recommend?
Looking at swrve: £110
Trespass Hemic men’s: £39.99
And this brand called Bellfield I’ve never heard of that came up in my search for soft shell trousers £19.99

It's been a while since I've done a laminate worktop because people are generally after solid wood, stone , concrete or resin worktops these days. Not that there is anything wrong with them.
As far as brands go it's been around for so long and the manufacturing practices are so well established that if you follow the time honoured formula of going somewhere in the middle price wise you should be fine.
What is really important with regards to laminate worktops is how they are cut and mitred; as in the process of cutting the laminate surface will chip very easily. IMO best practice is to cut it slightly over the desired size with a plunge saw then fine adjust it with a router. Any "endgrain" cuts for mitres, scribing to walls etc. should be cut with a router. I would always buy a new router bit to fit a laminate worktop on a kitchen as if it is slightly blunt chipping will occur; you can get good deals on kitchen fitting sets that have multiple high quality router bits in them from places like screwfix.

Why is west London airspace so quiet? Literally not seen a single Heathrow plane fly past (Chiswick) today

Any thoughts on what these two threaded holes are for on the bottom of this bb?

Kickstand, bolt on cable guides, drainage?
-
• #98717
I was thinking / hoping kickstand, (but they seem quite small).
All cable routing is via toptube..
And would it be odd to have threaded drainage holes 🤷♂️?
So maybe kickstand then

Maybe something to do with this?

I doubt kickstand, not substantial enough. What make/model is it?
-
• #98720
Mm I was also a bit suspicious..
It’s a Koga Miyata TerraRunner.
Could really do with a decent double leg kickstand too!!

Is it not just a generic BB shell/lug with threaded holes for cable guides that aren't needed?

threaded holes for cable guides that aren't needed?
But something obviously was bolted to it until fairly recently

Based on this one bad picture of the related Miyata Elevation 5000, I'm guessing some kind of anti-chainsuck device
