Polish or no?
Once you polish aluminium, you are making a lifetime of work for yourself to keep it looking that way. Think about whether that's what you want :)

I like that a lot. Looks rapid. Got any upgrades planned for it?

This looks nice. Will need a lot of elbow grease to polish the frame fully. And after a while it will turn dull again so I guess there’s nothing to loose as this is not a permanent change. ;)

True, but if he actually sat on the saddle the upper arm angle would move to something a bit more fashionable :)

I’m going to try polish it... tbh won’t be fussed if it goes dull again, kinda wanted to just clean the surface up a little. Any way to try and remove some of the shallower scratches?
Another question, how would I achieve this kinda of finish?

So I’ve bought this and taken it home. On close inspection seems pretty solidly built, but I don’t think it’s a specialized. Reckon previous owner has stuck all those decals on.
Pretty impulsive purchase. Any ideas or inspo on what to do with it welcome!
Threw me off when the chain slipped on the way back so might just spend a bit of time sorting it out so it’s safe and give it to mini mcamb so he has a bike he can chuck around, ride down steps etc.

Aah now you’ve said it... quite tempted to. But I reckon my son would like it if I sorted it out a bit 🤷♂️

Ignore phil, its the perfect pub bike
For the Mexicolnago the tubes are so thin but It will go the day I find the original forks and then I will build it full Colnapagnolo SR 1st gen.
For the MBK Nemo TT; The day I find a real TT frame or that I plan my legs I will turn my seatpost in the right direction ; )
