Tour de France 2017

Fair play it is an absolutely fearsome selection of sprinters at the Tour. There's a few missing, Coquard, Ewen, Gaviria and Vivianni spring to mind. No wonder no one can get a train going, there's simply too many sprinters at the front.

Yeah I miss his crazy chicken sprints. He's never quite regained form after being taken out by that dozy twat in Spain.

@Fox - in my experience, there is very little difference between 'TT' tyres and road tyres. The main diff is puncture protection and the reduced rolling resistance it brings.

The quality and quantity of sprinters at the moment is just ridiculous.

Perhaps next year we will see the new wave (Ewan, Gaviria) lining up against the old faithful and see what happens.

From what I've seen of him he's fightier than usual and he drifts more than Sagan did yesterday to win his sprint.

People's dislike of Bouhanni makes me like him more. Especially the dislike from people who adore old-timey Cav antics.

I'm not accusing @Chalfie of this at all, but I think there's an element of racism in the negative coverage Bouhanni gets. Pro cycling is a very white sport, and it shows at times.

I don't give a toss if he's a bit fighty, sprints would be even duller if everyone was as gentlemanly as Greipel.

I think you're right Andy and it was something I was going to say. Because he's "other" I'm pretty certain there's bias in the commentary.
