Only just tuned in recently.
What is this loon doing out on his own? Is there anyone else between him and the peloton? Other time gaps haven't been given. Did he just tootle off on the road on his own, or did he have very flaky breakaway pals?

• #353
he jumped away in the first 100m
only 210km to do on his own -
• #354
Nah. He fucked off alone after 1km. That's the story of the day.
-
• #355
What a misanthrope.

Millar reckons there's quite a big difference in the wet (generally). He was also talking about tyre pressure too though, he reckoned a lot had their tyres pumped up too hard. He had quite a bee in his bonnet about it :)

Ha the ITV commentators just basically admitted today is boring.
'Soporific' was the exact word - you wouldn't get that from Carlton Kirby.
Very much how I'm feeling as work is slow today too. There is something quite soothing about uneventful stages, not just for the riders...

Ooh it is quiet isn't it?
We could interview a soigneur to kill some time?
Great idea! Where's the nearest team bus?
-
• #359
If its boring on the telly, count yourself luck you're not following it on a ticker
-

I really want this guy in the front to win today. I think he may as well finish his TDF this year afterwards...
-
• #361
What is the dongle thing on the nds chainstay on GVK's bike? Is it just a big cadence sensor?
-
• #362
soporific again
-
• #363
Millar basically spent most of his career pissed off at the equipment he was given. Suppose he's grumpy there's still teams getting it wrong.
-
• #364
Can't go wrong with a nice line up of tractors!
-
• #365
The countryside is nice. This is why my parents started watching the TdF. Then they slowly got interested in the racing.

Guillaume van Keirsbulck is 'the guy''s name. Wanty groupe Gobert wants to have someone in the break every day, like many a pro continental team that wants to get some tv coverage time for their sponsors
-
• #367
He's earned his coin today then. Has he been caught yet?
-
• #368
Yes
-
• #369
Remember people there's a hell of alot of racing left to go.
-
• #370
Greipel FTW
-
• #371
I want to see a long effort take it today.
Sorry for the heresy but I find sprint finishes a bit dull compared to will they/won't they stay away drama.
-
• #372
This is sketchy already. There's not enough room for TDD and Cofidis there...
-
• #373
'Kinell
-
• #374
that was gross
-
• #375
Nasty nasty finish.
GC crash then Cav into the barrier - that was at least a shoulder.
Question on everyones lips will the peleton ever catch them? exciting...I dont know why I still watch this (good) shit.
