Alright kids. I've got a week off work next week and I'm planning on taking the bike somewhere over a period of a few days. Its a naked Bonneville so I won't be able to spend days on the motorway, so any recommendations for somewhere in the south? Beautiful forests or culture or sea or architecture are all on the interests list. Don't mind spending a night or two in a travel lodge either.

Down to the New Forest / Poole via Surrey A and B roads (obvs not always on the A3).
Then west along the coast to Dorset / Somerset and back.
You could visit Stonehenge on the return route.
Unfortunately, there is no culture in that part of the world though. So it's just scenery, cream teas, and a better chance of nice weather.

That sounds goddamned ideal. I always wanted to go to the New Forest ever since I learned EMF were from there and I've never done it. Great shout. I even think you can wild camp in parts of the forest if I was feeling really masochistic (I am not. I will be getting a beautiful hotel in private grounds).
Brilliant, thanks. Sold to the man like @hugo7

Fuck sake, my insurance has gone up 20% this year, due to the Brexit effect.
As it's an Italian bike and all the parts are priced in Euros, the insurance companies are passing it on to us. -

Sounds like bs from your broker/insurance company. I re-insured a month ago at the same price and mine's made in Italy. I thought it was bad it hasn't gone down with another years ncb!

Chain ferry from Sandbanks (Poole side) to Studland (Purbeck) is brilliant and takes you from footballer's wives hell to the 1950s in 5 mins flat.
Worth looking at Corfe Castle (steam train too), Tyneham village (WW2 ghost village), Durdle Door, Lulworth cove, Portland bill, Chesil beach etc. Bring your swimming kit.

Shame about the rain, but it's not every day you get a camera crew. Macmillan wanted me to be in their new campaign, so I thought a trip to Box Hill might be in order.

Does anyone with a smallish bike want a rear paddock stand?
I was going to try to turn it into a front stand, but honestly it's not going to happen.

I'm looking for a type of motorbike but I'm not familiar with them enough to know what it is I'm after. I think it's a bobber, not a Harley, more like a kawa or Yamaha. Simple, flat bar. Any suggestions,!i appreciate this may be something I need to build myself but what 2nd hand models make good bases for such builds?
