Aw man, they were at Ally Pally yesterday - I ran past there late on in a 3 hour run, would have inhaled 3 of those if I'd known...

An interesting comment on the FGV story, though--the outfit that serve it are also a meat outfit and apparently prepare the vegan calzone where the meaty ones are prepared. I think I'll still try to find their stall sometime to try one.

Yep, there used to be a buffet place just round the corner from The Underworld that was 100% vegan I do believe, came out stinking of the food though which kinda sucked... there's a nice all vegan restaurant next to the bridge crossing the canal, but not been in there for a few years now.

I'd recommend Mestizo on Hampstead Rd just behind Euston- serves meat (if that's a deal breaker) but has a pretty extensive separate vegan menu and knowledgeable staff.

Cheers, mestizo looks good. That decent vegetarian buffet place possibly on Drummond St, is it good for vegan? I can't remember if things are labeled/self evident. Then again, I can't remember having anything obviously non-vegan there either, maybe it all is?

Cook Daily or something else?

Peeps looking for good options in Kings Cross. Went to Caravan for lunch the other day, and they have a really detailed extensive allergies menu, and are super helpful with substitution options etc to make stuff vegan. Ended up spoiled for choice! Super tasty.

Only found out recently that zizzi's do a whole separate vegan menu! You have to ask for it though! Rice milk mozzarella is new there too! Plus they do 40% student discounts Monday and Tuesday!

Black Cat works for me. If we do it on a Wednesday (this Wednesday?), we can go on to Easts afterwards (a short hop, skip, and jump away).
