Not if you ride short enough/slow enough.

Me too - I'm a broken man 😔
Convinced myself that tortilla wraps don't count as bread so had chicken and salad wraps tonight /csb

First proper ride in over a month today, just over 60km. Bonked at 45km.
Since then I've had 2 servings of pasta, 1 serving of noodles and a shit ton of sugar.
I'd be better off just selling the bike.

You can burn a lot of calories in 60k if you want :)

I burnt a million calories riding 50km last night.
It's an epic distance through snow. Still can't my head around how little distance I'm covering.

Sit on a turbo all day, burn loads of calories, travel 0km.

My arse would fall off.
I can ride 20+ hours on a stiff race bike with an unpadded saddle. But as soon as I put it on the turbo everything hurts. Even my shoes feel too small.
Riding a heavy fatbike with a gazillion rolling resistances, through freezing - 8C wind, is much better.

Because you're not concentrating on not dying - turbo can make every little niggle exaggerated. Also, peeps tend to move around less on the turbo since there's no need to get out of the saddle or any of the other adjustments we tend to make on the road.
I could replicate your scenario by riding my balloonbike around London with just a string vest on. #stronglook

Well, my weight loss plan for 2016 has somewhat been undermined by my new Ikea scales that have an average discrepancy of +/-1kg

You should still be able to see an overall trend over time though, even if it's telling you you're heavier than you are.

No other organisms could possibly survive in this body.
No, it's just calorie restriction plus slight increase in commuter mileage.

• #10121
I'll ride it again at some stage but have quite a bit to try and fit in this year so getting there might be a bit tricky.

Just think how fast you'd go down the descent on the Shiv

That nay require drastic weight loss though.......
