I bet that's fun
Six13s are like distilled Cannondale. So ya, brash, bonkers but a curiously awesome ride. Jealous.

Think I might be leaving the club, anybody interested in a lovely caad7 frameset?
-
• #2130
Ben! Talk to Andy! He was thinking of going down this road. What size is it?
-
• #2131
But also... Don't sell it! You'll regret it!

I'M SO GLAD I SOLD MY TEAM SAECO CAAD
Said nobody, ever.

• #2133
C'mon Ben. When you said you wanted a Spesh, I thought you meant 'as well as' the CAAD.

I need to downsize my collection as I'm moving to London soon and I can't sell the Pista concept... But I know I know I'll regret selling the caad, wahhh.

• #2135
I shift the Pista Concept before the CAAD any day of the week.

thank you all! it is great fun indeed - the responsiveness is just incredible..
@joel_austen, @miro_o - the rings are doval. they are really cheap on the bay and i did not want to change the spider (hassle and £££) so i went for these. 52/36 nominally.
here's some other pics (will have to get the camera out someday when it's not raining..)

Don't know if anyone here is interested in my Cdale 2.8

Your six13 is really good dude. I have a visually similar caad 8 and it rides well, just a bit noodly at the front. Might be the premium forks? Hows the six13 feel? Be interesting to see how the carbon/alu rides differently.
cheeky pic of my caad again - just for similarity sakes:

@TRA - i can't even describe it.. i always had steel bikes and some alloy ones (dale 2.8 and a caad4) but nothing with a 1/8 ht or bb30.. so we can say that this is my first proper bike. it is a dream, really. i test rode some bikes i built on order, amongst them a supersix and that was the moment i realized why people love carbon and why it is so high praised as a frame material..
the 613 is really close to that. vibrations are almost nonexistent but the alloy rear end makes for a superb acceleration. i really like the feel of the forks too - i was never able to throw a bike into a corner this fast.. but i think there were variations with these forks. premium (yours), premium plus (mine) and premium sl, if i'm not mistaken. is your steerer carbon? i think i spot alloy dropouts on your forks - there might be some difference to the feel of the three models.
i love the look of the sram groupset on there. was thinking about sram when i wasn't able to source the carbon caged campag mechs i wanted but i'm so glad i went for campag in the end.. is yours bb30? what wheels do you have in there?

Ah, excellent! Sounds good, you'll have fun. I actually prefer riding my caad to the BMC I have (which has allow/carbon hybrid but other way round to yours). My forks are full carbon but they just don't feel as solid as they could. Maybe it's the rest of the bike that's so stiff the carbon feels soft. No matter, it still handles well!
Mines a standard BB shell, so a GXP BB in there and the wheels are 3T accelero (aluminium rims) which I rate very highly. smooth and fast and so far, very robust.
Anyway, slightly jealous of your frame!
