First proper ride on my Supersix today, it's better than my old Tarmac, at everything!

It's like that film where the zenomorph slowly kills off the crew on the Nostromo but you only see glances of it and your mind creates the real horror in your head

I love Bladerunner etc

H. R. Giger's xenomorph is a design classic and ghostbusters wouldn't have been the same without it.

The Slate however, really does need jettisoning into space at the first opportunity :-)

What is it meant to be? A caadx with a leftie? Or some 29er with drops?

Edit: if it's the same, it's a superx with a tuned down 26" fork

Isn't this Tim Johnson's bike? Think I saw him on the coverage of the US CX Nats, wasn't racing though.

Edit: Look like it's mostly aimed at the Gravel racing scene in US/AUS

The Slate and TJ's bike are unrelated as far as I can tell. TJ's bike was a homebrew effort using off the shelf bits to do the conversion.

Could someone do some photoshopping and tell me what the differences are between the frame on the Slate, and this?

Hah, nice one. I was wondering if they'd just taken the Quick frame - kinda - and stuck drops on it. I still think that maybe it was the basis of the Slate.
