Alternatives to these BLB chrome forks?

They're exactly what I want - flat crown, drilled, curved legs - but you lot have made me all anti-BLB.

those blb forks have pretty hefty clearance btw - I think I could fit 32s on mine

Not necessarily used: that fork is widely distributed and available through many bike shops if you want to stay away from BLB.

Says right on the label - that's Italian for "nope".

TA axix has a 103mm ISO BB
I may as well use the proper 109mm SG BB, given it's an alloy frame with rather large stays, the likelihood of the spider or even a large chainring hitting the stays might be high. Cheers @mdcc_tester

TA Axix is quite nice but a bit pricey. If you want a sealed cartridge BB instead of the loose ball Sugino, my choice would be the Token in 111mm , chainline is less than 1mm more than standard and the BB is nicely made and well sealed.

If it's between UN55 and the Token in JIS, it would come down to price for me. There's no meaningful performance difference.

Token gives a 46mm chain line with Sugino 75s, avoid @mishmash11.

Sealed BB with 75s = Campag Centaur 111mm

I have a cheapish tange 109 in ISO. Sealed etc. Its just fine.
Got it direct from Japan though.

Phil Wood should be weapon of choice, this is lfgss where over priced invisible bling is king (and I has one for sellz)

Ah cheers guys. I was just toying with the idea as I have a 103mm TA Axix Light and have just replaced the bearings and cleaned it up. Even with moving the cups towards the DS to get spider arm clearance I don't think it would make it. Oh well, I'll stick with my invisible bling and super ceramic bearings:
