@Thuekr @miro_o tx for the tips ^=^
I haven't bought anything yet, I'm the person who reads 200 reviews first which all said new Nitromor is useless.
Supadec seems better (boil nitromor brought up a hilarious rant that recommended it) as it's a chromed fork I need to clean up going awol with a Dremel with a wire brush seems...unwise.

Anyone on here based in San Francisco at the moment?

Gloss modellers enamel is quite hard, you'll need to sand it a bit.
I would sand the surface of the paint. Brush on some nitromors, leave it a few mins before wiping off. You'll then see see how quickly it is (or isn't) working. You can apply more 'mors with some idea of when to next clean it without risking the chrome.
I have no idea what nitromors will do to chrome - that's probably worth knowing!

Nitromors won't attack chrome. The best technique I've found for using modern Nitromors (which is indeed piss poor) is to abrade the paint, brush on the Nitromors, wrap the whole thing tightly in cling film and leave it overnight. That'll give time for the Nitromors to do its stuff, and will stop it from drying out. Then take it off with a scraper or wire brush (probably best not to use a wire brush on chrome though).

You can get the active ingredient that was used in the old formula, but it's not nice stuff...

Yeah old nitromors was mainly DCM (dichloromethane)- not very pleasant. Cat2b carcinogen (ie possibly carcinogenic)

Remember the old ballpaint cover up? The white stuff? And the old markers?
Fun for days ... 1,1,1,dichlorethyl I believe it was. You had to keep away from it, unless you wanted to half-faint in class.Tx for the tips all!
Here's a free glue removal tip for stickers and other sticky glue residue: Most fatty oils do the work. So if you have stubborn stickers peanut butter/mayo or whatever will dissolve the glue. Not sure it works on super glue, probably not, but seems to work well on any sticker that absorbs oil, and on glue left after pulling said stickers off.
I'll be using that to clean up a Miche supertype post...

Miche
I quite like a cheese and mayo combo too.

I've still to break a Miche part. Perhaps I should eat more mayo and cheese as I'm even within the Campagnolo Sheriff Star weight range... ;)

I've noticed that my corima 4 spoke has Some very slight delamination on one of the blades, it's only on the bits left over from the mould and not the actual spokes.
Any reason not to just lay some new carbon fibre over it? Rebalancing it won't be a problem if I need to but I'm sure it won't add enough weight to make a different.

-
• #64168
FC-4650 is the same quality, obviously it's a double not a single.

IT question. I use the outlook email program at work, and I routinely hit the limit of my mailbox due to clients sending me large files. This means that when I try and send an email it gets stuck in my outbox.
Now I know to fix it I have to reduce my inbox size. However in the interim, is there a way to get outlook to pop up a message saying "YOUR EMAIL HAS NOT BEEN SENT" or something similar. I keep getting caught out thinking I've sent an email only to come in the next day with an angry client who was expecting something.

I have auto archive set up on outlook at work, so i never have to delete anything. it fills up some remote network drive somewhere.
The problem is that the adhesive will dry out while you're waiting for the first set to rot on your rims. Buy factory fresh when you need them, it will be a couple of years even in the worst case, on a sunny Sunday bike I've had Velox last a decade.
