  • Can you get Sky Sports just to watch online/through an app?

  • Yeah, you can pay for sky go stuff without a telly subscription, use it on a few devices too, it's pretty good on Xbox.

  • Although it's better if you know someone who has sky sports on their telly and internet or multiroom but doesn't use their free go stuff as you can use it for free.

  • I can't seem to find how to get it without telly. I only really want it for the rugby this year as I'm fed up with the crappy dodgy streams and they won't work on android.

  • Maybe I'll see if someone already has it then offer them a contribution towards the fee for use of one of their SkyGo accounts. Don't fancy asking for something for nothing.

  • It's cheaper of you pay nothing.

Go to the "Find out how to get Sky Go without Sky TV in your home" bit. Although it'll all be available to stream online from various places for nowt.

  • It's fine with WMV input, not sure about the output.

  • Cheers boss, must have skimmed over that bit. Seems you have to get sports on top of the family bundle, which i don't want

  • My chinvelo has similar FD cable routing to this:

My cables are not sealed; can I get like a rubber seal or something for it? If so; link?

  • What's the point of direct mounted brakes?
Aren't they just AD990 style things, or like U-Brakes?

  • What about a drop of silicon sealant or similar? If rubber grommets don't exist that is.

  • Stiffer. U-brakes don't work whereas direct mount do?

  • No idea, I was just thinking about how to seal a hole. But if the bare cable has to move freely in the hole, probably not.

  • the mounts look similar though don't they:

  • .

  • Vee brake mounts and Direct-Mount are different I think. That's why I can't fit DA Direct-Mount brakes onto my Shiv that has Vee posts for U-brakes and such.

  • Wouldn't suprise me, then you've got to buy a whole lot more stuff.

  • Welcome to progress. Sometimes fundamentals have to change in order to move forward.
In 10 years, we'll all be riding disc brakes anyway.

You should think yourself lucky, this year I've spent ~£800... just on brakes.
And I don't own a single disc brake.

  • In the CP Megathread on pages 3859-3862 @miro_o , @AngelD and I had a discussion about sealed brake cables, ferrules and rubber boots.
Maybe you can apply this to gear cables as well?

In ten years, it will all be coaster brakes again....

  • Magnets. We'll be braking with magnets.

  • Did you see that concept bike from, erm, I forget that rotates the wheels with magnets?

    @Hippy

Well that will teach for you buying a triathlon bike.
