Post-type brake shoes, not posts for mounting the caliper, which are très 2015.

Yeah those posts (I've seen them referred to as a "smooth stud brake pad") are a bugger. Last night I had another go, based on the above, where you set them touching the rim (easier to tighten the bolt while gripping the pads to the rim with one hand) then ease them off with the barrel adjuster.

Hey guys, Any idea on which threaded headset is this ?
it had a delta headlock that was easily removed but i cant remove the top part of the headset that covers the bearing so i can clean it.
the bearing is sealed as you can see from the bottom cup.
Cheers

Have you tried unscrewing it? Put a couple of bolts in the bolt holes and use a bar braced against them to twist it off?
-
• #61481
it is free around the top cup, unscrewing it just roll it around.
i didn't try anything funny with the bolt holes because i dont want to break it. -

I got an old rim with old glue on it. I need to remove the paint from the rim. I tried thinner, acetone, ethanol, paint remover and heat. Already spend about 8 hours on cleaning it. Nothing works. Any tips?
Edit: old glue not old paint.

Yeah tried to heat the allu rim a bit but don't wish to destroy the carbon underneath. I changed the post a little bit. it's old glue, not old paint. need to remove the old glue so I can put new glue on it.

Leave the old glue on, you have already established it is well bonded by your failure to remove it

Leave the old glue, unless there's a really huge build up. If you can't scrape it off, it's not going to get pulled off by the tub.

I bought a bottle of olive oil in a small organic shop yesterday, it was a fancy non filtered italian oil on discount, but when I got home I realised it was expired on 12/2013. So 7 months ago.
Yesterday was late to go back so I returned to the shop today. The girl at the counter told me that the bottles are in offer because they are expired (she didn't tell me that the day before tho) and so I couldn't get an exchange or refund. i left just because i didn't want any troubles.
I don't know how the rules are here in Uk but in Italy you can't sell expired stuff (according to the label).
For as much as I know they could have got for free these products (where they are not possible to sell after expiry day) and then made some money out of junk.
Is there an office that I can call? Health and safety? -

Is there an office that I can call? Health and safety? If it's a use by demand your money back.
If it's a best before, it's probably caveat emptor, but I'd still demand my money on the basis of good customer service being to inform someone you're selling past-best goods.

It's a best before, I know that oil doesn't go bad, the flavour is just lost forever. But as I didn't really care about the discount and I just wanted a good oil (the only one they were selling), I'm pretty much disappointed.
I know I don't risk to be intoxicated, but it just seemed like they were taking a piss (not telling, no return, etc) -
