Nice looking Peugeot, it's definitely an older model and therefore probably a French BB. If you look on the fixed cup side, there may be a line around the circumference of it meaning it's a swiss threaded one.
As for dating it, the cyclespeugeot website used to be great for that, bit it seems to be down at the moment...

@TurtleRecall that setup you have is incredible. The trace looks a beaut (as does the basses). I have the GPX12...what's that underneith?
My mate is a pro bass player (as is his dad) and has loads of fancy, expensive basses of all shapes and sizes; he uses a fender squire affinity jazz bass for his workhorse these days as it's light, has a very manageable neck, and sounds brill. -
Someone near me makes vegan cheese with nuts, and they look incredible. They have entered some sort of competition to win some funding to help start up so if you like there is a vote site here:

Also, I'll totally be trying that recipe there @Thrasher

Sorry should have clarified. I'm coming from Oval northwest on the CS5 and when at that junction am looking to turn right across the whole thing to go up Drummond Gate and the up Lupus st.
I've noticed the same about traveling in the other direction off of Lupus st, onto southbound CS5. The wait in that direction does seem to have changed.

Firstly, I think that overall CS5 is good, and I am grateful for not having to maneuver in the crazy traffic around Vauxhaul Bridge. Also if I'm being superfluous just let me know!!
I'm not sure if I'm the only one that finds this a bit annoying about the new CS5 that goes from Oval to Pimlico: when crossing over from Northbound CS5 to go through Pimlico (so turning right off of the CS5 to go up Lupus st), the diagonal path across the junction/road is blocked 99% of the time by time our lights turn green. Next loads of cyclists weave through traffic that, rightfully so, want to get out of the way leaving me feeling very exposed as no one really knows whos right of way it is. After sticking to the rules and waiting 2 mins (average) at the cycle traffic lights, it feels like a slap in the face to have to then just dangerously weave through the traffic that didn't wait their turn (probably a bit harsh).
For clarification I've made a figure highlighting the issue where lights A and B are on the Northbound side of the A202. From my observation, the problem is that lights B turn red before lights A and the delay is up to 20 seconds which is more than enough to fill the space between that should be clear. From a car's point of view, they are just see making it through one traffic light a victory, so naturally jump over light A hoping there is enough space in front of light B. This is also happening on the southbound side too...
Am I the only one that finds this slightly annoying? I was asked by an official looking bloke with a clipboard about this problem the other morning when waiting, and I said my grievances...hopefully something will be done about it.

Pretty shitty one today, not because of the weather but I swear Fridays is the day people are super lax with using their indicators (I know that it's already terrible!). I got cut up twice by (non indicating) vans suddenly pulling out on me; only to then be called "cunt", "selfish cyclist", and "prick" by the workmen standing where the vans pulled out from.
still better than the tube/10

I always wondered that an used to just push across the pedestrian crossing but it took ages so found another route through pimlico, hence going straight on. But then I saw people doing what you suggest/already do and thought that's a neat way to get over. I find those lights are pretty much always red so just scooting over to the right to join doesn't seem that bad...

Lovely cycle to work at 730 this morning: the sun was out; the air was crisp and cool. Totally ruined by some prick on a beaten up folding bike continuously mounting the pavement and swerving all over the place, in and out of traffic, to then saunter across the red lights with some smug grin on his face. I personally got cut up by him at least twice when approaching junctions, as well as numerous others. At one point he was traveling through oncoming traffic by Vauxhall bridge to get from the cycle highway onto the Victoria bound road probably thinking he was some sort of courier speeding through new york or something. No idea why I let it rile me, but it did!!

@hippy @TW Yea he filed a police report, but without the number plate I doubt they will do anything. So luck that it was just warm, not boiling because that would have been a lot worse.
Yep, so many of them RLJ-ing and generally just weaving all over the place without looking, creating chaos.
