Both secondhand from ebay, separately. A lot of waiting until an 853 Bob Jackson turns up in the right size :) mine's clean because I've hardly ridden it in the last year, more's the pity...

Anyone got any thoughts on what would be suitable replacement drivers for a pair of TDL Studio 3 speakers?

Doesn't look like NOS ones are available anywhere (admittedly haven't looked too hard) and I think I may also need a tweeter or two. Someone on the Internet mentioned the Monacor DT-250 as a suitable tweeter...

    Cheers!

To be honest, I've no idea re: Japanese imports and mileage, was hoping the hive mind might be able to offer some advice :)

Recently had this idea of considering thinking about maybe getting one and almost immediately spotted that example. The UK one with similar miles (but better condition) that @el_presidente was looking at was on for £9k, IIRC... What's the usual difference in price between a genuine UK car and an import? Any thoughts on whether it's a dreadful idea all round?

@el_presidente I'm finding it pretty tough to justify myself, but if UK holidays are the way forward then a bit more room would be nice. And I do miss my old mk1 octavia vrs estate, so easy to chuck bikes etc in the boot!

@ColinTheBald had a quick read up on grey imports vs parallel imports. Would this still be considered a grey import if the same model was sold over here, or would it be considered a parallel import?

Did you go for the R36? I've had an urge to get one of these recently too... Wagon. I've got an R32 and love it, but would like something similar with a bit more space.

Spotted this one on Autotrader imported from Japan. Does anyone know how this works? They register it etc and you drive it away? How much of a bad idea would this be?

Think it's a 3 year warranty on this frame, so it'll be out of warranty now, unfortunately. Guess first port of call would be PBK to see what they say... Should be fun!

Total dredge, but I got a GFTi secondhand a while ago and gave my warranty replacement 4s disc frame to my little brother. He built it up and has been riding around on it for the last few months until, quelle surprise, it cracked!

    Guess where?

ITM Visia doesn't look too shabby - understated, not massive and i think it's 10deg. High on bikes have had them going pretty cheap on their ebay store for a couple of years.

Saying that, I went from one of them to one of these: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/ahead-11-8-318-stem-black-id_8529483.html

    Thrifty man's superleggero?

Not a network person either but presumably your other/old DHCP server is no longer acting as one? And what length of time was the DHCP server providing IPs for? Usually lease is renewed after 24hrs, but not sure what'd happen if lease time was set to 0 (i.e. forever) on the old DHCP server?

Have you restarted the devices after setting pihole as only DHCP server on the network? I'm guessing gateway IP is set correctly too on the pihole?

For anyone who has the kinetics fork. How do you get the mudguard stay that fits around the axle on the NDS to stay in place and not leave the hook that keeps the front in place when folded too high up? I've got mine jammed under the QR but can't fit the washer and little thing it sits inside without leaving the QR quite a distance away from the lips on the fork, which worries me.

Seems it's either low enough to keep the front end hooked to the frame when folded but brakes squeal, or pull the stay a little higher and get a crap fold but no squealing.

Would i be better off using a 9mm thru axle QR? I've got a novatec d791 so end caps aren't hard to come by and I've got a 9mm QR axle kicking around somewhere...
