(to the best of my ability anyway :P) I've only really done summer lightning over leith hill way [4 runs of that pretty much finishes me) so i'm mega keen to find out what else is out there!

Hey digs86, last time there were two on fully rigid, two of us on hard tails, and one full bounce. Hard tails are fine for what we will do. Hope you can make it.
The plan this time will be to do Holmbury Hill, Leith Hill, and Ranmoore Common. Meet up will be at Gomshall train station car park at 10am on Saturday 15th August.

Wide bars are awesome! Give them a proper go, before thinking about cutting them down :-)

I really like wider bars but usually only go to 760mm as maximum. My current bars are 740mm. How wide are yours? 780mm? Wider?

Yeah, as long as people turn up there will be more rides. Hopefully see you out on one soon.

I doubt I'll have my new MTB by then but I'm super excited to make it on one of these when I do.

I'm down in surrey this weekend for a bike demo, any trails you recommend that won't be massively busy?

Do you know which hills you'll be riding? It's easier to recommend trails once I know where you are and even then I'll only be able to give you a name, so you'll have to ask someone with local knowledge how to get to it.
Really, the only trail that ever becomes super crowded is Barry Knows Best (aka BKB) on Holmbury Hill, and I don't even see that as busy as it used to be. Sundays seem to be the busiest days.

it's a bit mental for the central london commute (only ride it in when i'm up for a laugh - leave earlier etc)
