Looking lovely for tomorrow morning, anyone game for some gentle laps?
-
• #103
possibly possibly.
-
• #104
I miss the HoP thread, I'm assuming this'll eventually become something similar?
-
• #105
Shall we inform both?

@eyebrows
@umop3pisdn
@amey -

yeah maybe idk, etc.
Got the Talbot working again, so much happier about life.
Still unconvinced about Giant. -
• #108
Sorry folks, I'll never get my ass out of bed for 6.30am starts.
-
• #109
But at least you're feeling better?
-
• #110
you're perpetually unconvinced about the Giant, and then you ride it and you're convinced, and then it goes in a cupboard and you're unconvinced. It's because it's orange, right? And you can't live with it, apart from when you're on it and you can't see it...
(unlike the Talbot, which is acceptable both to look at AND to ride)

I don't see the roles of each bike. Do you race the Talbot? In which case there's no need for the Giant.
-
• #112
If that's your attitude, please don't get around to judging my bike accumulations :/
-
• #113
Not yet. Lost more than 6kg in the space of two weeks and still appear to be dropping. My cycling power level is currently minus one million. Gastroenteritis is no joke
-

I start work at 8am. I'll be doing laps around 6pm if anyone gets up (very) late.
-
• #115
I thought you power had gone down?
lols! -
• #116
A possibility if I miss the AM buzzer.

Its because as @umop3pisdn says, it has no role.
Each time I ride pretty much any bike I'm happy- because I'm riding.
But the Talbot just covers all the needs I could possibly have.The Giant was supposed to be Tri oriented, but shoulder issues have halted that pathway for the foreseeable future ....
@umop3pisdn- I haven't raced this year, and thats because
- I'm too lazy/ busy
- I'm too lazy
- I'm far too prissy about either bike.
@Hovis- yeah- I've been there, not as bad as you, but still was mass weight loss. It takes forever to recover. GWS!

Come earlier, it be good especially with the morning fresh air of London Town (before it's polluted)
Anyone for in for tomorrow? Or can I have a extra few hours beauty sleep?
-
• #124
I'm in. Just ate loads of steak, so super slow I suspect.
-
• #125
I've just put my self through tori katsu/sushi overload so I'll probably explode in a cloud of rice. Should be there though, 0630ish
Also out for tomorrow
