If you do fancy travelling down, I can arrange to meet you at Ponders End station? It would mean catching the service via Cambridge, which usually works out cheaper.

Good shout, the way down is cheaper (though arrives at 9:08, is there breakfast nearby?). And actually the return from Chingford has dropped in price. What time are we likely to be all heading home?

I get off my train there tomorrow, so will check what's nearby. I also have to pass that station on my way to Chingford on Saturday.

Thanks for the reminder. Sadly I am volunteering at a free bike workshop this Saturday. I didn't remember clicking anything to say I was going. I hope I have now successfully changed it to say I am not going.

I do hope there will be more of these events.

I think I'm in for Saturday.. though my rear brake had stopped working last time I rode the mtb..

Phew! For some reason I thought the plan was to meet at 9:30!

I'm definitely in, though I'm still not sure what state the bike will be in. Fingers crossed the postman brings lots of new shiny bits!
