Oh yes, don't get me wrong, this will be a ride you will never forget!

Having said that ^^^, of all the bridges rides I have done over the years, including one with over 200 riders, a standout memory is of riding back to central, after finishing at Kew Green. About five of us, fuelled by adrenaline, beer and weed, holding the wheel of @BringMeMyFix, at what felt like an incredible speed. I swear we were cheered nearly the whole way by people leaving pubs.

Lunch beers slowed you well down on the Southend ride.

Any route changes planned with hammersmith bridge now closed?
There's a cluster of 3 bridges down the road. Teddington lock, Twickenham a316 and Richmond bridges.

Either skip Barnes rail bridge, or better, go south west over Putney and immediately back on the (kept secret until now) Putney rail bridge to get you right for going south again on Wandsworth.

Those extra west bridges are too far away.

Remains open to peds and cycles I thought... just not motorised vehicles.

All closed now, can’t even walk along the river under the bridge.

See above, it isn't that much of a change if one among you knows how to get to Putney from Barnes or Hammersmith to Putney.

This looks to be the way.

Will do a reccy of the Hammersmith to Putney route for the group, Fulham Palace Road is the direct route but can be busy. Will see if the river path is a good surface one evening next week.
