Would have loved to come but we had family duties in the AM.
Looks like you guys had fun.
Anybody interested in a 140km mostly traffic-free loop of London tomorrow?

yeah, nice ride today guys. I awoke with a sore throat & slightly aching limbs but the weather was so perfect it woud have been criminal not to roll. It was only on my way home I realised I hadn't thought about my ailments - the power of positive thought and a nice ride. Happy Christmas to all forumengers!

Awesome way to spend the Christmas morning. Thanks to Kevin for arranging, and Cycle PS - Battersea for hosting us.
Not had a chance to filter down or fix any of the images yet but they are up.

Nice, I saw a bunch of single speeders at St Paul's at 1100; must gave been a splinter group.
Nice work all and especially the hosts, Battersea Cycle PS

Great pics Fasih. Really sorry I couldn't make this ride, but I needed the rest.

Fab pics. Still so annoyed with myself for being such an idiot this morning - I was so up for it!
@cafewanda thanks sweetie. Think part of it was fate because I put on the bracelet I wear 'for protection' as I was worried about getting a puncture I couldn't fix and having to walk home. It looks like the way of protecting me was making me miss the ride! Next year!

This is the first time I've had a chance to sit down at a laptop, and not post on my phone... Thanks again to @privatepatterson and his partner for the extremely nice welcome at Cycle PS in Battersea, it was very generous of you to open up for us, your hospitality is commendable. Of course my camera phone stayed in my pocket all day apart from the start and the end so thanks to @fasih for the pics. The three decent ones I took are below. If anyone else has more please do post yer links.
Someone else will have to lead next year, it isnt practical with a kid on the back! I think the traffic seems to get heavier with each year earlier on the day. On the way home, me and @ms-chris passed by the arriving LCC ride (around midday) just past St Paul's. By that stage there was very little to distinguish it from a normal day of traffic in the city, minus the buses.. the traffic free element of it doesnt last long, but I don't think I could do any earlier than 9am at Oxford Circus.
Broken bike at last minute. Enjoy the ride guys
