Fucking awesome night
Lovely to see so many people, sorry if I bored most of you with tales of trees, tractors, chainsaws and daffodils!
I can't remember who said this but "it's like a school reunion without the cunts" perfectly nailed it. So lovely to see an abundance of friendly faces, it was lovely to catch up with you all. Huge props to @velocio for making it all happen.
All I now wish to see is whose bike gets finished first @hoke vs @amey

I just drag my Brompton around in its travel bag these days, far simpler...

"it's like a school reunion without the cunts"
That's not really the spirit of the forum. Cunts are normally required.

I was hollering to you - just as BRM and I grabbed an uber - if only you had turned around!

Awesome evening - and Aroogah sends his regards!

Really lovely to see some long lost faces and some more recent friends too. I snuck out pretty early as the grand slam had done for me. I think @LongAndWinding was actually propping my tired form up at the end. Managed to ride home though, with judicious application of jelly babies to face.
Another set of happy happy memories to add to the insanely deep #lfgss collection.

I'm so sad to miss last night. The forum has been so important to my life over the last 10 years, even though I barely ever post or ride bikes very much anymore.
Right now, I'm driving on an adventure across South Africa. My traveling companions are people I met through the forum. Our hosts in Jo'burg are forum friends who moved there to open a bike shop. My friends in Cape Town were met through cycling socially here.
My life has been quietly integrated with the forum for so long, that it's sometimes easy to think that it isn't. But when I stop and take stock, I realise how much this community has affected my life decisions, and all the others around me.
It has led me on so many amazing adventures for the last 10 years, with all of you, intimidatingly cool, mad people. I have a lot to thank you all for.
So thank you.
Psy. X

What a lovely party ... Everybody too busy chatting to dance to the great music downstairs. Lovely to put faces to forum names and vice versa as I gradually get to meet more of this amazing community. Magic happens when bicycles are involved ...

This (apart from the South Africa bits). Very sad to miss last night but sounds like everyone had an excellent time. Apart from snottyotter.

Lovely time last night catching up with old friends many of whom I haven't seen in a long while. I can remember rolling up to the Slaughtered Lamb 9 years ago and not knowing quite what to expect with the whole IRL thing and it's been a wonderful journey...lots of love to DK for making this all happen.
