There are some very large 'Vote Cocking' banners around Broxbourne.
I was driving and would have taken a photo but I was eating cereal so had my hands full.

Fought dirtier and dirtier as the weeks went on and he lost control. I hope he stands to his word and if we don't get starmergedded in six months he will reappear to apologise for promising it in such a cocksure fashion.

I'd love to get a green party version of this on my front garden. I've just about the space for it but I'd like to at least keep relations with my aging neighbours cordial and they'd likely stroke out.

Disagree. This will give them something to write about for the next 10 years.

How many seats are Reform realistically likely to achieve? It's gotta be 1 max surely?
-
• #2611
Some polls had them at 6 didn't they? It's a bit all over the place and wonder how the last week harmed them.

My Reform voters went off on one about TR being a British hero, the Sunak admin being left of Blair and that they knew they would let Labour in by voting Reform but they didn’t see any alternative
-
• #2613
I think Reform will do better than expected but as that’s at the expense of the Tories I don’t think it’s wholly bad.

Those Telegraph self-deluders can write, and froth about anything they like, but the incoming Starmer administration can completely ignore them.

Reform will hopefully suffer the threshhold problem of First Past the Post. They might get 14-15% of the vote, (the worst part of the traditional Tory spectrum, plus some out & out racists), but spread evenly across too many constituencies. Hopefully each time a Reform candidate gets more than 10% they gift the seat to the best placed non-Tory, Labour in the poorly named 'Red Wall' and the LibDems in the south.
Will Lord Faw Faw even win Clacton?
Even if he does, he doesn't have the character nor stamina to serve as an MP. -

Trevor Philips, "What about people who think Putin is a good guy"
Nigel Farage, "Here we go, Brexit won in the referendum, it must be the Russians"
Trevor Philips, "Are you aware that these bots, probably Russian inspired, are interfering in the election?"
Nigel Farage, "Don't talk cobblers"
Trevor Philips, "The deputy prime minister is talking cobblers?"
Nigel Farage, "Oliver Dowden saying there are Russian bots involved.. Did you ask him how many millions did he take from Russian sources?"
Trevor Philips, "You can't keep doing this. Asking yourself a question and then answering it"
Nigel Farage, "This is the Russia hoax"

Like stopped clock he does have a point about the Tory’s and their Russian donors and the son of a Russian spy in the House of Lords, etc, etc.

"One such booking, on the Andrew Marr Show, when she was junior defence minister. During a conversation about Nigel Farage, she suddenly said: “I always think he looks like somebody has put their finger up his bottom and he really rather likes it.”" -

I'm on the Isle of Wight at the moment, thought it would be all Conservative and Reform, but seen 3 Tory sign, 1 Reform, 1 Green and 2 Labour so far over 3 days
-
• #2624
I’m genuinely surprised- I would have been of your original thinking.

The Isle of Wight is now 2 constituencies rather than 1 and both are projected to be Labour which just bazar, it feels like a very Tory place.
Had a little roll round the lanes of the Southdown this morning, lid Dem and Tory’s signs in equal measure, there where a couple of farmers fields that would normally have massive Tory signs but they where empty.
Then there was this, I had a move a couple of time to be about to fit it all in.
