(I will be flying in on Saturday afternoon/evening, and hesitated to put my name down as I don't know that I can reach home in time to get back out, or whether I come direct, but as no plan as been shared I'll say yes as I want to show respect and be there, and will wait to see how the logistics work out)

For a similar reason, I'll post that I want to be there but I simply cannot make it. I have put a note in my calendar and will be raising a glass to the lovely man on the day.

Yeah, sorry about being slow on details. Dates locked in, and hopefully venue confirmed tomorrow. Bit of phone tag/places being unavailable.

Should be a night which Aram would have fucking loved though.

I still have no words. I wish that we could make this memorial, it would be a small comfort to see all your faces! We will raise a glass here on the West Coast, spin some tunes and get out the dancing shoes.

If anyone can contribute a few quid to the hire of the venue for the memorial / celebration, I've set up a gofundme here.
