• tbf that whole thread could probably be posted into here

Vegan Thread and Allotment Thread quotes are both accepted here, but the lfgss book chapter on this topic will record them with an * against them to highlight their ease of picking.

  • picking

    Only when ripe.

  • What has Britain come to when we’re fobbed off with yoghurt as the main item in a meal deal?

    From here.

  • They make a good point

You can intuit a lot about a person from their meal deal selection. Consider two people: one getting ready salted crisps, a BLT and a San Pellegrino, the other a spicy chicken pasta pot, the hard-boiled egg two-pack and a banana Yazoo. Which one would you rather have as your babysitter?

  • Kinda think she has a point, but she chose a thick smoothie with the yoghurt which is weird to me.

  • What is the answer though?

  • Styrian pumpkin seed oil is nice for salads

  • It seemed as if we were glimpsing some of nature's hidden powers.

  • Culture is an ongoing conversation with both the living and the dead.

the future definitely doesn't exist, it's just an idea.

  • how do i remedy this sag in the canopy?

  • Obvious. The spicy pasta pot means baby sitter will be using your bog and leaving chili splatter, and two hard boiled eggs means you’ll be smelling her farts for a couple of days. Option one please. Also San Pelligrino hints at a degree of sophistication so kids might be in good hands. I would also accept the Lidl knock off stuff.

Yes! How are they harder than a plastic bag to carry? My life doesn't make sense.

  • a worthy accompaniment to the book, despite lacking the tactical nuance and philosophical elements

  • I just buy avocados 3 days or so before I need them. They are still firm obviously and this allows me to control the ripening process through paper bags and the fridge.

  • As soon as you mention Avacados it's got a 98% chance of ending up here.

  • Avacados

    Classic Grauniad style, too.
