Tiz hasn’t been working for the Tour.
Everything else on there is normal though. -

I watched the 1st stage on tiz on Saturday with no problems. Always been my go to

I’ve found that if I’m having issues with tiz using chrome, switching to safari will usually help. I haven’t tried using it for the tour yet, though.

First stage of the tour for me today, not sure what Cadel Evans is bringing to the production?!? Lots of stumbling over words, tortured metaphors and general on mic nervousness. His inexperience?? brought into sharp relief by the louche delivery of Millar.

He was great Saturday and Sunday but I hear the same as you today also…

• #57
Yeah I thought he was struggling a bit today too...

Climbing bikes seem to be on the way out because you can be at the UCI weight limit with aero frames and wheels.

It seems Cadel’s luggage is still circling around Bilbao. Perhaps he’s been distracted but that. I thought he was good again today and it seems he bought a new shirt so perhaps the two things are linked.

Not hanging around in stage 6. Half way (top of Col d’Aspin) in 1 hour 45 minutes.

Cav blaming his failure on his (Dura Ace) gears. Much grief for his mechanic I suppose. He changed to the 11 for his big effort but the mech jumped on to the 12. Maybe that was his last and best chance?

He changed bike I think.

Astana uses OSPWs by SLF Motion. Cav had one fitted today. https://escapecollective.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/CORVOS_00035700-180.jpg I believe Shimano says non-standard pulley cages shouldn't be used? So they have a handy get out for today. I wonder if Cav will have a standard cage tomorrow?

Alpecin–Deceuninck are also on Shimano and I assume latest DA 12-speed. Fault has to be 3rd party pulley, engineer or something else…

Nobody's wish, there was literally a conversation a dozen posts up about how we don't need dedicated TdF threads as well as the pro cycling one!
Actually if you're in the USA, Sam Bewley is supposed to be presenting TDF stuff on NBC

Dunno if they're actually showing the racing though or just recapping
