I started to build a mini Velo a few years ago, but gave up after cutting the bb out and bending the stays and down tube around. Only to find anything had gone a bit (lot) wonky. This time I’m going to just cut a bb out of an old frame and weld it in a bit higher than before. 110mm higher for a bb raise of 30mm to be precise. What could possibly …

Result! It fits into the bag with ease. Admittedly the track bike fits in it as well but only just.

They look like cheap shimanos imho

I can see the Shimano Alivio Fc-mc16 vibe about them, but IRL they are much more angular. I’m really struggling to find a set I like. Want black arms silver ring from around 2015ish suggestions accepted.

Tbh no, I’m searching for a cheap 105 thumbie, but I have a plan if I can’t find one.

Just buy a cheap sturmy 3 speed RH thumbie and replace it with the 10/11spd.

Oh, interesting. They do have a load of throw so with a bit of a file here and there they may be able to pull enough cable for 11 speed.

I see the Dango Bros I put in my wish list on freshtripe aren’t there anymore and my birthday is coming up so finger crossed.
Now to decide on grips? Oury? Ergon ? Or some of those foamy things? I’m torn. And then what colour?
I need to catch up with @RunRabbitRun to get those bars (Christ in crap at stuff)
Shit then I need to pick some pedals!

I really rate Ergons.
They're are the only grips I've had that don't degrade rapidbly and the comfort is undeniable.
I have four different styles, including the ones with bar ends, and they are all great.
