new 2nd hand beater/winter/cx build. floor level and end of bars roughly level with it. my dilemma is that it feels like hoods should be up more. first time campag user and have massive hands, currently wouldn’t be able to easily change down while on hoods. advice pls! ps, not my kitchen

Looks like bars could tilt down another degree. Then move hoods up a bit. They look good where they are. If fit is still wrong maybe you need to look at stem length and saddle position

Every bicycle is serviced by our accomplished crew of year-round bicycle mechanics. Any issue will be diagnosed during our thorough 141-point inspection.
Clearly bdhu is sorely missing from that list.

Nobody in the industry gives a fuck about BDHU. It doesn't sell any bikes!

Well, I stand corrected. Never seen those. They're like the lovechild of 7970 and sram 2012.

Currently not viable due to cable exit angle, I'll try the alternate routing when It's time to install new housing.
P.S.
Campag has a strong opinion on BDHU.

I imagine they used a german « NEIN! » in all manuals for extra emphasis.

This is correct BDHU. Your dale is not set up like that tho.
I am out for this evening. Let's keep discussing stuff tomorrow 😁
Edit: maybe it is

What Fred said. Tape job is also not on par with the build.
Bars and hoods are spot on tho <3
