He did a speech sat at a table with a load of Aeroflot stewardesses but will not sit within 30 ft of anyone he works with.
i'm sure that they were kept isolated and tested before the "meeting"

I'm sorry if it upset anyone. I was horrified not only by the picture but by the fact that the official twitter account of the Ukraine military would just send it so bluntly. But then again, why shouldn't they? It's more honest than the blurring which our TV news transmits. And I think we need to see it, because the blurred pics just aren't anti-war enough.

I thought that was the 10 Downing Street refurb initially.

Wasn't that the meeting which people were saying was faked? (I'm neither supporting nor rebutting that assertion)

I thought this may be the best place to post this.

BBC feature had the correspondent strolling through unblurred bodies in Kharkiv last night but they were partially buried in snow which I assume they judged makes it impactful but palatable to the audience

Wanted to say it was a green screen because i've seen some videos where his hand goes straight through the microphone and everybody was sharing it like "look, he's afraid of going out of his bunker" but apparently in high quality video on youtube it looks rock solid.
Fake news all around.

I was thinking more of whether someone with aspirations of becoming a legitimate business person would still see buying an English football team as a viable way of white washing their business.
Could it spell the end of the overseas money guns?

Wasn't the original thinking that Abramovich bought Chelsea to boost profile and protect him from Putin?

I used to work with one of the lawyers who brokered the Chelsea deal. He was obviously not going to give any privileged information away but he did make it clear that even the people who brokered the deal did not know the driver behind the purchase.

That was my understanding.
Are you querying how Abramovich can both have close ties to Putin and need a mitigation strategy to stop him being jailed or assassinated?

Wow, so social media make the decision instead of government, and choose how society should be.

I've equally heard that he was told to buy it by Putin as a soft power projection thing

I doubt it. It's taken a lot to get to this stage and the reward probably still outweighs the risk for most. Probably just invest a bit more in proving separation from dodgy regimes like Newcastle have done.

What's allowed to be posted on social media has no bearing on whether it's legal or not.

Where I work we get dozens of long haul trucks daily.
The anti vax freedumb jerks are a tiny minority. They have no right to claim they speak for all truckers.
Criticism of the convoy is not criticism of all truckers, but that is how those jerks take it. -

Many twitter pics of destroyed Russian equipment are called fake because there are no bodies visible.
Many commenters demand to see bodies.
Morbid creeps. -

That is because there is just no way to fake a dead body. Everyone knows that Hollywood have no choice but to kill a significant number of actors whenever they make a war movie .

Yeh and every time i see someone post, "just seen terrible footage of X, won't share but can confirm attack in..." The comments are all requests for links to footage, seems gore is still popular, disturbing
Bit like Putin's Palace
