• Ace, hope you had a good one, heard the first night was a bit chaotic!

  • I went down the Malaucene way yesterday and that was quick, bottled it above 70k/hr and hit the brakes. Then I saw some poor soul getting peeled off the road face down about 2/3rds of the way down and rode the brakes even harder. Enjoyed more of the view too!

  • Got the Albion bibs off here in a XL they are too big for me.

So will be moving these on if anyone is interested.

Will get some in a large and also try a jersey too. Materials of the bib short feel better than Rapha.

  • …It’s that time of year again! 👀

  • Not another lufguss run I assume??!

    You’d break the forum….

    Tags are a nice touch.

  • Built in emergency fiver?!

  • ….Pan Celtic Race! Starts in a week or so, route heads to Ireland, so a mix of Sterling and Euro notes this time! :)

  • ^anything else I could/should put in??

  • A severe emergency tenner?

  • 👀 There’s one under that €5 note!

  • Not for the burner because anything else would affect pack size but for ideas for other products, especially if they could be incorporated into zip pulls etc: valve core tool, spare chain masterlink, tyre boot

  • Good ideas @PhilDAS esp the chain link. ...I’ve been wondering about pull tabs that could double as bar loops if needed? On long rides I carry spare strong hairbands, which are great to improvise a bar bag (use rainjacket to wrap stuff up, hairbands to hold onto bars) or just loop food onto the bars for a spell.

  • That’s a great idea. Any pics? I remember Cadence, or Ring Tail(?), did a windbreaker that had a piece of elastic on it that allowed you to pop it under your stem when not in use.

  • Ha. As did the lightweight insulated about a week earlier.

Only wore it twice on three days riding round there. But when it was needed it was just perfect.

  • Lovely stuff. Good to see you, mate.

  • Ah cheers dude. Be cool to catch you out on the blacktop at some point. Sadly most of my miles are on the flat lanes of Suffolk.

And nicer shot of rolling in Provence

  • Anyone have the arm warmers? I'm solid S in the jersey - would that mean the same for arm warmers or should I size down so they don't slip? I am more iggy pop than chainbreaker

  • I am an XL in the jerseys and gilets, but a size L arm warmer fitted me perfectly. I do have quite broad shoulders though #humblebrag

I’d definitely advise iggy to size down.

  • I've the medium ones, and they are just about tight enough on my pipecleaner arms. Good length though.

  • Thanks both - going for the XS

  • New women's pocket bib shorts in green, seems like a nice option for those people who were unable to get their hands on the Rapha x Outdoor Voices turquoise ones.

However it is my semi-serious belief that shorts sold as "botanical green" should separately include a nice print of a plant as well.

  • Agreed, plus a seed packet in the pocket.

  • I'll be crewing at the 24hr TT this weekend, supporting #22, Charlie Stewart (Hunt/Albion), come and say hi if you are about, or follow on this new IG I'll be running the weekend (and we'll use from here for events and behind the scenes stuff);

It's an amazing event, so I hope to capture as much as possible, and do some IG Live through the night to capture the action at Prees Island and Lynn's Raven Cafe.

  • I picked up the tie dye shirt last week, along with some cargo bibs. That is one lovely tie dye job @Chopsicle

Hoping to get out this weekend to give the bibs a go too
