• Tough tape on both sides. Won't be invisible but is relatively discreet.

  • @stelfox & @atz I've got end Oct for a small restock on the high-viz vest, with another top-up end Nov. I'll try to give an exact date nearer the time. And yes, great to see an indepth assessment, with some good discussion in the comments,

@Merak afraid not, no - get them while you still can!

  • Here's the film we screened in Kendal last week;

    https://www.albioncycling.com/landing/le-coursier

The Q&A after was really interesting, and Marin's insight into rejection of - what some might consider - attractive aspects of racing and media, which is touched on in the film.

  • Marin is a breath of fresh air in this sport. His plans for next year are fantastic. Good on Albion for supporting him to be different.

  • Marin is REALLY a GREAT guy. Met him once and helped me a lot.

  • Thanks @Skinny all credit to the team behind it, especially Finley who shot/edited/produced the film. He spent a lot of time living & riding alongside Marin, plus following his races. Look forward to seeing what his future holds!

  • Currently living in my lightweight zoa, any chance for some trousers of the same?

  • Another Albion film that makes you want to go out and ride more!

  • Is the black zoa with the orange hood coming back?

  • Cheers. Added to the list.

  • Anyone got a Zoa rain shell? It'll be for commuting and as a general rain jacket. How small does it fold up?

  • I would say not very. If you had a decent size frame bag you could jam it in. Its a pretty heavy duty jacket that I would normally use for grim days like this week where it honestly kept me bone dry. If you want something packable the all road rain shell is good (about the size of a water bottle) but its very bike fit so not ideal for going to the shops or town.

  • I'm not looking for jersey pocket small, just don't want a massive thick thing that takes up a heap of room in a bag and is correspondingly too warm for 15 degrees plus.

  • I've only handled one in Condor, lovely jacket, would happily own one but didn't strike me as packable. Have a look at the Patagonia Storm10 which is rather packable (not jersey pocket small). Squashes nicely into an Ortlieb PS10 1.5L drybag and is a decent all-rounder for me, commute, mtb, about town or a hike.

  • Cheers all, will check out the patagucci

  • I have one of these (Patagonia storm 10) near new in size small (green) that I am going to sell as doesn't quite fit me.if interested?

Apologies actually the slate sky https://eu.patagonia.com/gb/en/product/mens-slate-sky-waterproof-rain-jacket/85020.html but may still be of interest to you

  • Have a look at Galibier, most of their gear is packable.

  • Too small I'm a L or XL but thanks.

  • Looking for the rain trouser in a L (probably the right size) but seem to be out of stock at Condor and Albion. Anyone got a pair to sell or @Chopsicle any news on a re-stock? I’m sure there was a discussion on availability but have looked back many pages (perhaps it was in another thread).

  • Sorry - as ever - for delay
@Bossman yes, absolutely, been thinking about this loads over the last 12 months, just haven't had the time. We've got someone from studio heading to Fat Viking again in the New Year, so hoping to have something(s) up and running for then. ..am cautious to say too much, time always swamps ambition.

@Johnnyw75 yes, lovely film - if you haven't seen, the new Lakeland200 Canyon film is pretty incredible too. Just want to go and see that scenery. @hippy ^too

@giles337 I'm afraid not :( I liked mine so much, I got the matching rainjacket.

@timmah! as @joepud01 says, it's a barbag, not a pocket, but it does give a substantial amount of protection over a road rainjacket. I would say you can use it in a wide range of temps, with venting/heat dump through wide cuffs, pockets, two-way zip, but then stick on an insulation layer, zip it up, and it's good for grimmest winter days.

@Mat-CR We don't have more coming in this season, so only whats about. Complicated to explain, but we only make what is needed on a 'sustainable growth' strategy. Sorry it's frustrating, but the entire industry needs a more slow-and-steady approach. ....as Black Friday approaches....

  • Thanks for the recommendation @Chopsicle
Inspiration is always lagging around this time of year to get out and ride... Albion films help massively. Off to Condor soon to help with the sizing side of things... good to feel clothing in the flesh as well before a purchase... would've loved to see a lichen version of the shield rain jacket ;)

  • It’s imminent. Launching on Tues, but prob available online before then. Condor expecting them in the next few days, so there’s a chance they might be in the shop at the weekend. Call and check, hope it works out for you!

  • I'll be all over that like a cheap suit!!!!

  • Small restock of High Viz Vest online today, plus going into Condor in a few days. More following in a few more weeks.
