Just straight to the compressor, no air tank, but it does include a water trap which some cheap ones don't. I'm only painting little plastic figures so I don't even need the full psi or much coverage at a time.

Quite a neat unit! I’ve already the brush that I got in the badger sale a year or so ago. Will have a look around for some of the cheaper units then! Cheers for the link

While I’ve been looking up airbrushes, I stumbled across https://www.kentmodels.co.uk/ they seem to have a really nice selection of Initial D kits, I’ve always been tempted by one. Good prices as well by the looks of it.

I lucked out and found a Iwata compressor and airbrush from a Nail Salon that had folded. I think they had a dozen units that were virtually brand new but wanted to get rid of very quickly and cheaply.
Worth checking eBay but not the hobby listing.

That’s actually a good shout, always love a sneaky eBay search, common spelling mistakes is my go to usually!

Was planning on heading into central today for a little walk about, did have a think that there could be a model shop/place that’s stocks a few models that direction. Anyone know of any? I know the one that used to be behind Waterloo station is sadly gone now.

Forbidden Planet Cov Garden has some Gunpla but I'm not sure on scale modelshops anymore. There used to be a few dotted about...

Looks great!! Decals seem to be placed pretty perfectly, which is where I usually end up putting off for another day.

Looks like a really fun build, stick some progress pictures in if you get the time! What’s the plan for the paint job?

The engine on the far side of the Beaufighter looks bigger than the one on the near side.
Tamiya was my fave back in the day. Their 1:32 planes were really good. -

Like an MC Esher.
I think the lens is forcing the perspective a bit.

Finally got my backside in gear to sort a case for the ‘mighty Hood’. Excuse the terrible pictures.

I most definitely didn’t build it though. I’m in awe of anyone who has the skill, ability and time to build a scale model kit.

Just 150 issues of Battleship then. 😜
They have some nice kit but slightly out of budget!
