All near future weekend dates are sketchy with me, but most are at least possible if improbable.

To wit, I shall merely observe the asymptotic crawl towards a plan and then attempt to align.

Potential in depending on date. 24th preferable.

At this stage I could do either. I might be tagging (ho go) along with a team for a few hours rather than doing a whole day. I like the idea of team tagging within a defined geography, might want to make it quite right to minimise waiting around (think taggy cat was all / mostly in the City? )

Are there any more strong views on dates? Only stephens has said he specifically prefers the 24th, whereas skydancer can't make it at all on the 24th. So far, I'd incline towards the 31st--although we could, of course, do it in August, but I suspect that despite the current difficulties of having holidays, more people will be on holiday then.

What we also need are two volunteers for team leaders. I won't be one, I'll just come along for the ride. The only task the team leaders have to do is to pick a first tag, as everything else will be done in a group after that. If you fancy doing that, do pipe up.

If I can make the ride, I'll happily be a team leader.

But the 31st is not possible for me.

OK, thanks for your replies--I think we should go for the 31st, then. Shame you can't make it, Dawit. Also sorry not to have you, Matt, but you say that week-ends are generally problematic for you. Hope the 31st works for you despite not being your preference, stephens.

Thanks to aglet and oat44 for putting themselves on the list (and Dibble saying he'd come along), but I'm moving this to Saturday the 4th September. 10am at Look Mum, 49 Old Street.

We'll draw teams from a hat when we get there, so just one list:
