That’s the guy off the radavist?
-
• #630
Indeed! His attention to detail is off the charts

Very nice! (Although the Look stem is a bit silly)

Is it really though? No front mudflap, ratty bar tape, ergostem, tanwalls, Klampers, wheel decals, BDHU, enough luggage to ride for a weekend but only one bottle...
It's nice enough but could be so much better.

...and the chain looks very very long no?
It's a fun build tho

Beat me to it. Mentioned the same thing in the GBP thread, where Gaston posted the bike.
I think the bike looks like a lot of fancy parts cobbled together. Should have done moodboard before. ;-) -

Looks like it’s set up correct for Campag tbf

To his defense, half of the things you mentioned were covered in his next story. Also, the ergostem is there because he shares this bike with his partner (i asked him in the comments)
Regarding the luggage, the bars and the klampers, even if i agree with you and I'd do differently too, those are a personal choice. I'm probably too much caught in "the vibe" to rightfully nitpick like you've done, but I reckon you're absolutely right about the overall potential!

Nice!
Not sure if you know but Mason make 3D printed mudguard mounts for the Aperture fork. It means your PDW guards will attach in a better position than attaching them directly to the fork.
Excuse the dirt but here they are on mine.

Thanks - I assume you mean these;

I need to order a few bits and bobs, so will add these to the order.

saddle angle?

Really nice.

Yeah it looks weird. Normally ride slightly nose up anyway, but we had an altercation with a pothole.

I have a USE seatpost with the same, shitty clamp design. I'm not heavy but found it slipped a lot, even when massively overtightened. A bit of carbon assembly paste sorted it!
Great looking bike by the way. -
• #647
that looks really good

Gooch buster !

Bent fork or i need eyes to be checked ?
-

I think it's the angle and the way the fork/wheel is slightly turned. I have a few pictures of one of my bikes that has a dead-straight fork that looks bent.
Gentlemanly, i like it
