Bike fit maybe?
-
• #155
will need to keep that aside for when the axs derailleur stops working
-
• #156
Enough for a repaint
-
• #157
Bike fit maybe?
Risky.
"you bought the wrong size FACTOR, I can do you a good price on a used Dolan"
-
• #158
It would be an extremely bold move to buy first and then get a bike fit.
But it would also be kind of baller
-
• #159
Well it's not a gold Look but it could've been so much worse
-
• #160
I think that Factor has some "semi-bespoke" service blahblah. Don't think going in for a fit is possible at the moment so in reality it's probably more along the lines of "can you touch your toes, Sir?"
As for the change, I have noted it and will make sure I forget my wallet every café/bar stop for at least the next year.

Why oh why not wait for 12 speed Dura Ace? It's probably going to be out in March
-
• #162
Cos wires innit
But in the highly unlikely event of Di2 12 speed being fully wireless in March, I'll have hydro etap groupset up for sale
-
• #163
They certainly got the buyer to touch his toes at £9.25k
-
• #164
Good choice. Could've done a lot, lot worse.
-
• #165
Agreed. The Look was the one.
-
• #166
Edit: even better choice than I thought.
T47 BB
Three fork rakes through the size range
32c tyre clearance
Geo looks spotThumbs up. I'd take this over an S-Works something any day of the week if I had to pick a mass produced carbon bike.
-
• #167
That's an ok decision given the parameters. At least the paint is different, plus AXS.
-
• #168
I am so in on a lot of the comments on here but I gues that's not the point.
Canyon Aeroad? Close enough?
Looks expensive, is expensive, people know it's expensive, is aero, is carbon.Alternatively get something slightly cheaper and spend the change on a rediculus custom repaint that litterally says "This bike was 10k, suck it!". There should be enough space for that on a big aero downtube. Finally @gdkhgd take a picture of it and win >> antiporn.

Has anyone suggested a Bastion yet?
-
• #170
Bit late as a bike has been bought.
-
• #171
This won’t stop us
-
• #172
No, I didn't really think it would ;)
-
• #173
Aeroad obviously came up in the decision-making process but I personally just don't get excited about it. Back when it came out I thought it was a bit rad but it hasn't changed much visually since then and the colours it comes in really do nothing for me. Not that it was my decision at all but I'd definitely choose the Factor (or Tarmac/Foil et.c) over the Aeroad.
A picture will follow when this arrives in April, blatant anti. And keep the suggestions coming for the next punter with more money than sense.

I got this out of the garage today, £11,000 and I might part with it.

Seems fair it is way prettier than the FACTOR.
Hang on, it looks like there's £750 of change - we're not done here
