Specialised S-Works - turbo and summer holidays - light as you like, look great
Sidi Genius 7 x 2 - general do anything, commute, club rides. bullet proof
Giro Empire - best bike days when it's nice
Rapha Classic - not sure, don't really like riding in them, may sell
Shimano R somethings - first road shoes, battered
Northwave Arctic GTX - Anytime it's below about 8 degrees.MTB
Rapha Explore - gravel & touring
Decathlon Triban RC500 - touring (these are really nice to wear) - the ones with the extra buckle
DHB cheapies - got these when I wanted a pair of mtb and they were the cheapest. Horrible!!
Shimano lace up somethings, I got these for spinning 15 years ago, still comfie and used for commuting for a while -

Don’t know what you mean by studs. Mid-20th century stuff. Shoes were/are made to accept cleats that slot/grip the rear plate of pedals with toeclips. Cleats that you choose the exact position of, to a degree given size, pedal and toeclip length, by ‘nailing’ them into a midsole surface that will hold the nails (they’re like push-in screws with a very loose spiral grip thread). Think my midsole on these shoes is a very thick footbed of leather, with perhaps a wooden shank I’m not sure.

Ah, I know what you mean. I've heard you can find replacements in archaeological digs sometimes

Studs!
I've only ever used them for cyclocross.
