What area are you? Hospitals?
Which local authority? -
• #903
West London
-
• #904
Why? Because now there is a way to cheat on this too?
-
• #905
There's no cheating about it. There's evidence some vaccines can be administered sooner. If I can get it sooner I will.
-
• #906
Is it worth while trying a different area and one that doesn't require your details. There are centers for undocumented people, but then how would the jab be recorded and you would have proof.
-
• #907
Right, if it's in respect of the law without jumping the queue then it's fine.
-
• #909
.
-
• #910
I'm sure your local authority, whatever it is, will have a web page and some public health guidance on covid and vaccination. Start there ?
-
• #911
Just a heads up to get your second jab ASAP, I have 2 mates who are pretty rough with Covid after only having one, both 30ish.
-
• #912
Tomorrow for me. I know it's not a green pass to have fun but I'm going to be super relieved to be potentially less contagious should I be asymptomatic when visiting family.
-
• #913
Yeah it’s definitely relief when you get the second. If London is anything like Manchester in the next few weeks then lots and lots of people will be isolating.
My girl friend is double jabbed and is now isolating as she was with someone who tested positive over the weekend so will hopefully be ok. I’m double jabbed so going to isolate + exercise even though I don’t have to legally isolate. I can’t stay home after the amount of quarantining I’ve done for the recent Austria work trip, I’m going crazy.
I would say minimum 25% of mates seem to be isolating at any one time at the moment and lots of people at work. Moral of the story… only meet your mates outside, it’s just not worth the 10 days at home for the sake of a few pints (or 10) indoors.

#2 this Friday for me and Sunday for ms_com. Had a bit of a panic last week when mini_com came down with a bug that we both got. But rapid recoveries and multiple negative lateral flow tests have soothed me somewhat.
Due to go to NI in August and see my folks for the first time since December 2019.

Yeah, it needs to be legit and "NHS aware".
-
• #916
I did.
-
• #917
And?
-
• #920
Seems that places were doing it after 3 weeks but updated guidance has gone out to centres saying it should be 8 weeks. There have been a few stories on it.
-
• #921
Yes, I've read all that. I have had my first of two appointment jabs. I'm trying to get my 2nd jab sooner than my second appointment, hence looking for NHS walk-in centres that will jab sooner than 8 weeks. Did you misunderstand my question or something?
-
• #922
That might explain why I was seeing people saying they'd got second jabs after 21 days and 5 weeks but now they're not doing sooner than 8 weeks. If I could just find someone who's not read the new guidance ;)
-
• #923
Stay safe people, some days the only fun I have is calling you all cunts.
-
• #924
You'll be contacted when it's time. There were walk-ins but they've all changed to >= 8 weeks.
Are you misunderstanding the information we've given you?
There will be reasons behind availability, reaching different population groups, who is most at risk.

Smooches ( at an appropriate social distance until you're fully vaxxed )
How they argue not following the relevant info mRNA-vaccines amended intervals recommendation 3-6 weeks Comirnaty) and 4-6 weeks (Spikevax)?
