I've been using them for track and crits for a couple of years. Had one puncture in the rain, otherwise they've even survived the broken glass rivers of Shoreditch and Hackney on Saturday mornings heading south to Herne Hill.

Maybe you're luckier than me

The roads here aren’t great in some places from a pothole perspective, especially up in the canyon’s, but they’re free of debris. I’ve gone for 28’s too, so the lower pressure should help with no pinches. I’m not really worried about punctures.

You're very very lucky. I've had 2 punctures alone this afternoon. They ride nice, but not as nice as the old Corsa's imho. They're mad prone to punctures and slices though that's for sure.

So the current ones aren't as good as the old chevron tread Corsas? Shame.

Not sure if we’re all talking about the same tyre but these are Corsa G2.0. Unsure if that makes a difference.

I haven't tried the first generation Graphene, but I have an old pair of Open Corsa (that has spent a few years in a warm dark garage) that is still my benchmark.
The Pavé (the green ones) were amazing too, especially in wet conditions.

It depends on who you ask really. I don't think they're as resilient or as supple. Old ones rode so nicely and gave fair warning before they slid out. New ones are very fast, but are a bit twitchy. Then again, this is entirely anecdotal.

Goodbye tubeless 👋🏼 Not an issue to get these on a DT 460 fresh out of the box.

Nice. Very nice.

Seven sent the wrong size headset and the wrong seatpost clamp. Hopefully those won’t be deal breakers to me leaving Del Mar with the frame tomorrow. I’m staying in a hotel overnight, so fingers crossed I don’t leave empty handed tomorrow, but we shall see.

Very happy with the decal choice. Unsure about the JB decal. It’s not comic sans but it kinda looks like it...
I ordered some Kirk barrel adjusters that unfortunately did not turn up on time, so the plastic Jagwire’s will do for now. To be fair, not sure how correct brass and titanium will look anyway.

Awesome. The top tube at the head tube juncture looks very ovalised in these photos. I like the JB decal.

Good news. Craig didn’t have a Cane Creek 40 as specced, so he upgraded me to a CC 110 that he had. I’m hoping that’s charged back to Seven seeing as it was their fuck up. Pretty decent as I’d never shell out for a 110.
@t-v to be honest, it all happened so quickly with me dropping parts off (Craig was super busy) that I didn’t really check out the tube profiles. Just snapped a few pics and off I went. Better photos once I get the full bike. I also forgot to check that Seven drilled a third bottle boss. Hoping they did as I was really looking forward to having three bottles... it’s 36 Celsius where I live right now by 13.00.

Whoop whoop! Have we covered what groupset you’re putting on this?

R7000 105, Praxis Zayante-S cranks.
Will probably keep the group until Shimano 12 speed comes out or something. With that said, I could ride this forever more. R7000 is wicked good.

Looks banging.
If they've forgotten something like a third bottle mount, given it was clearly on the drawings, that'd be disappointing. Surprised such a high end organisation for the wrong headset and seat clamp, but I guess such things do inevitably happen to us all and they're probably under a lot of pressure because covid.
Frame looks superb. Looking forward to seeing this built and ridden.

Comic sans makes perfect sense

Yeah. Craig has a spare clamp so it’s all good. Human error and yes, they’re all working in a totally isolated fashion.
Re the bottle cage mounts. They may very well be there, I just forgot to check. I too would be surprised if they’re not on there.

Thoughts on the build: absolutely love it. I had real difficulty visualising the build but I couldn't be more stoked if I tried.
Very happy I went with a Ti post/black cockpit. Even happier I purchased Nitto spacers that matched the stem finish. Also, I think the slim Sim Works by Nitto stem looks fantastic.
I reckon the Praxis cranks and BB look incredibly smart, too. So much better than 105 cranks. Gumwalls on Ti are a classic, to me. I do still want new wheels though. Craig even told me I needed a new freehub body so maybe I can swing new wheels instead
To be honest, the only issue I have is the bars. Not an issue per se, but I’m not sure the size of them/shape of the bend really suits the frame. They look pretty big.Maybe a 75mm reach would work better instead of these 85mm's. I do like the shape though. They're comfy.
Regarding the frame, I think the profiles of the tubing looks great, but I think it’s the proportions of the bike as a whole that I’m happiest about. For a relatively small frame, I think it looks pretty ‘normal’ in size. The headtube angle is without a doubt the slackest I've ridden but I don't think it looks unusual. I think the whole build still looks balanced. The slight slope to the top tube definitely elongates it, visually. I have extra spacers available to me just in case, but I shouldn’t need the stack as high as it currently is. The Cane Creek 110 looks superb. I am beyond happy with it's aesthetics.

Na. T11, Easton R90SL and Sapim Laser’s or CX Ray’s is what I’ll be buying. Those are also in the UK :-)
