This is interesting because the British are world leaders
Beware of Swedes saying this. They have a strange anglo-positive world view that thinks we're as competent as a romantic view of the Victorians.

It's almost like I saw this coming. All my training and working has gradually moved to home over the last 6 months...
Mine is the spendy KICKR. Indoor training is more interesting with Trainerroad account, movies and/or music depending on intensity. I'm missing sessions though because they're too bloody long to fit into a lunch break.
Or do some weight-lifting.

National stereotypes aren't really going to help much. Especially when we're reporting on experts. Keeping the negativity under some control may help everyone's mental health.

Ah, here it is (in the Wills thread, and not by danstuff)
I agree with the sentiments though. If your Will is 'If I die then it all goes to the missus, if she dies too it goes to the cat's home' then you're probably OK doing it yourself, provided you're careful. Anything more complicated than that, and there's a distinct risk your estate will go the Chancery Lawyers Benevolent Fund.

I mean, it's not like PHE / the centres haven't got experience of being involved in MERS-COV, SARS, Ebola, winter flu, chikungunya, west nile.

We signed up to the Which? one recently on a special offer. You do it yourself but then it gets checked by their legal team. I looked at other DIY-esque options and Which? seemed like the best all round.
They've got 50% off this month so you'd get one slightly cheaper than we did:
https://willsoffers.which.co.uk/rmlmar/?utm_source=MSE&utm_medium=Online&utm_campaign=March_50Rev&utm_content=WillsI need to finish it, which is a good self-isolation activity.

Beware of Swedes saying this. They have a strange anglo-positive world view that thinks we're as competent as a romantic view of the Victorians.
Indeed. This is why I included the quote, as the massive alarm bell it is. The same goes for any determiner attached to "pool of experts" or similar. Sorry if I keep banging on about this, but I do think it is important.
Edit: There´s a virulent strain of anglophilia ripping through the population on the other side of the Gulf of Bothnia too. Our (Finland´s) telly is full of British programming and even otherwise hardened journalists gush whenever any of you lot gives an interview in RP.
Edit 2: For anybody wishing to have copious coitus after a night out in Finland and Sweden, just do a Hitchens/Mirren impression as applicable. What with Game of Thrones, a Bean/Whittaker impression would likely result in similar levels of shaggery.

Have been asking my dad to register for online shopping for a few days.
Had another stern conversation with him earlier. It’s just so if it comes to it he has the option and is prepared. I am assuming things will calm down and in due course people won’t be needing to book slots weeks in advance
Getting his email just now to say he has registered successfully was a huge relief.
It might mean that those businesses can actually survive and hire everyone back when this clears up. If they have to shell out for wages and then go under totally, everyone's in a worse situation. Doesn't help your sis buy food now though. :S
