Voted for Stella Creasy, a safe seat but it feels good nonetheless

Anyone placed any election bets?

This Diane Abbott shoe thing is incredibly depressing. There are two possibilities.
1) Guido Fawkes has photoshopped her to be wearing odd shoes
2) she's having a foot problem flare up from her diabetes and is wearing odd shoes for comfort.
Either way, Twitter is even less of a pleasant place to be than ever right now.

I stuck a tenner on a labour SNP coalition at 16/1.
I'm a fool.

Read the Diane Abbot story on the Telegraph. The state of the related stories...
Are swing voters likely to be put off Labour by Abbot? Assumed the base racism of her 'critics' meant a Labour vote was never that likely.

"Patronising socialism"? WTF is that, and is it worse than "hostile environment"?

Some wankpuffin on Nextdoor reported me for starting a thread highlighting illegal political flypostering near polling stations in my 'hood. Fuckers.

MoreThe odds of a hung Parliament are shortening really quite noticeably on Betfair. Several days ago they hit 9/2. At the start of the day they were more than 3/1. At the time of writing they're below 2/1 - and shortening.

Isn't it illegal to have election posters without the political party that put them up on them?
They've probably made sure it's some kind of rogue group, like the F******* poster who is not in any meaningful way connected to Matt Hancock.

I also noticed that none of the brexit party leaflets were paid for or produced by the brexit party. Odd times we live in.

North Belfast: Sectarianism finest, DUP or SF. No, SF are not the good guys here, two cheeks of the same sectarian arse. They do a nice bit of PR in the papers, but blegh.
Fuck the DUP though and my partner will get a huge clothespeg for his nose and vote SF. SDLP stood aside for SF, at least this candidate does not have a violent past.
I can't vote or I'd do the same. What a choice.

This thread's one of a few things giving me some hope right now. Turnout is looking really good. Hopefully it can keep up now people are leaving work.
This hit the nail on the head for me earlier.

There is one of those about 30m away from the entrance to my polling station. Felt dodgy.
