Overheard at the LFGSS golf club bar

There's a bin thread, I won't debase myself by posting in there about my 4 numbered wheely bins.

I have a Landfill, Recycle and Compost.

The only other common one is Sharps.

Some areas have food waste and garden waste too.

I believe recycling is split up sometimes

I found a 1950s sewing machine in my parent's storage... Couple weeks later, I found myself ordering bunch of fabrics from Germany.

You amateurs. We have 4 different kinds of recycling.

So 5 with normal waste.

Garden waste is optional for an annual fee which would make it 6.

Crazy there is no set recycling national policy.

Still. Might 'borrow' a Medical Waste bin from work to really get the neighbours nervous. I'd imagine the Council Waste Collection with probably disown me though.

Surely Golf club = fewer bins and weekly collections

No mandated/plastic/coloured bins in SW15 - use whatever artisanal bins you want. Recycling all goes mixed in orange sacks.
