  • It was in Popbitch last week. Not sure how reliable a source that is but they're still going so they must have a decent track record to avoid being sued out of existence.

  • Lebedev, according to associates, likes his guests to dress
glamorously for dinner and to make a formal toast at the table. Seated
by their host next to Boris,*(Page 3 model Katie) Price rose to make
her contribution. She called Lebedev “You Guv”, announced that
“champagne and Pricey don’t mix,” and then lifted her top to expose
her breasts, turning to face the foreign secretary as she did so.

One of Lebedev’s four-strong team of armed personal bodyguards, headed
by an ex-SAS soldier, escorted Price from the dinner table. She was
not seen again over the weekend.

  • A good quote from the Granuad.

"The source likened Johnson to Zaphod Beeblebrox, a character in the science fiction comedy The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Self-obsessed with a gargantuan ego, Beeblebrox was briefly president of the galaxy – a role said to have no power at all other than to distract attention from whoever was really in charge.
“He is a Zaphod Beeblebrox. Other people will be running the galaxy. He’d need a good chancellor, a good foreign secretary and a good home secretary. He’d have to let them get on with his job.”

  • Has everybody noticed this?

Very worth reading on how unimaginative this is, and as Mark Lawson says, how telling--obviously, most first novels are to some extent autobiographical, but ...

  • And this on the stupid nonsense Johnson secretes about 'Islam' (whatever it is he imagines he's talking about):

  • Just seen he's finally been charged. But will Elphicke have the whip conveniently restored again if Johnson REALLY needs him before September, I wonder...

  • Of course

  • Any minute now.... they're running at least 10 mins behind!

  • why does he clap like that?

  • cos he's a dickhead

  • Well shit

  • Jesus wept. We need a GE.

  • Pwhahaha, they should have got you to do that scene

  • .

  • Fuck knows what would happen in a GE. Corbyn has yet to prove himself competent, Johnson will probably take a load of Brexit votes, the Lib Dems may well end up in the position of being able to pick which side to support or an SNP coalition with the cost being another indyref.

    Chaos here we come.

  • The first thing both Theresa May and de Pfeffel did (albeit on Twitter) was attack Jeremy Corbyn. Which does give me some kind of hope.

  • Hope of what?

It’s like Trump, spend your time publicly attacking people and use it as a smokescreen for being an inept selfish self serving Cunt.

  • The first thing that Labour did after Jo Swinson became libdem leader yesterday was launch paid for Twitter adverts attacking her voting record. The knives are indeed out.

  • Knives out everywhere at the moment it seems

  • As a media man he can outdo Trump at what Trump do best. Just keep dropping off the cuff remarks on a variety of the nation's most contentious issues and plant seeds of discord through media. No need to concern oneself with the day to day running of government and civil service.

  • Gutted I called this correctly.

Trump’s second term next to guarantee my total and absolute apathy.

  • There's plenty there to attack.

She got a hard time on Today this morning and was not convincing in her efforts to defend her support for austerity.

  • Saw this being paraded outside Parliament media centre on Millbank at lunchtime today..

  • In weather like this, he would be advised to wear clothes or at least sunscreen. Bit worried about the donkey with that weight on its back in this heat.
