I stayed with an interesting 'warmshowers' guy on a european tour last week. his new job involved doing exactly what you did with your workstation with the scaffolding-type tubes. He works for a small firm in Belgium that, I think, outfits factories, he's the only employee in that department and says his job is relaxed (he has money and time to pursue his own interests). Anyway, it is a bastard shame that someone with these skills here has to grind whereas in a more productive/humane economy, they are valued and provide a means to security. Fuck the tories.

Not sure what the tories have to do with that to be fair. It’s living in london that means you have to work loads/high paid job or being good with business if you want to get any kind of decent income from creative endeavours.
