• Finally got around to installing the matching rear light, and tried the shrink wrap the wire along the cable trick. It came out alright, with a little force the wire can still move relatively freely along the brake housing.

I also need to order some Di2 sheaths for the routing of the cable up the fork leg.

  • No savings on the actual stem bolts as I replaced Ti with Ti.

    So 22g, that’s almost 1oz of whiskey!

  • I am now measuring my weight loss in bourbon!

  • That's what I've been using to measure my weight gain so I can vouch for the metric.

  • That's what I've been using to measure my weight gain so I can vouch for the metric.

Weight gain, weight loss, waiting for the train; everything should be measured in whiskey.

  • Reading that took abound half a dram.

  • Really love this Spooky. Just hate that Enve stem. I think they look particularly bad atop a spacer stack. Soz.

  • Im with you on that. At 41 I can no longer “slam stem.”

I’ve vaguely been looking for chunky carbon spacers, perhaps with hollow walls?

  • I’m not a slammed stem advocate either. Even on my Seven I have spacers. I just think something less chonky looks better atop a spacer stack. Like a Sim Works or one of those low profile Deda’s that everyone puts on their 1” steerer tube Kirk’s.

  • Don't you hate it when you whip out your stem and everyone laughs at it?

  • Some interesting developments...

  • So today also had the very interesting development that we may be moving back to Cambridgeshire. It’s kinda predicated on what happens this week in govt. and the ex-wife (maybe) taking a 4 year vacation to Roscommon (with the older kids).

  • An old bike of mine just rolled into the shop. It’s a DeBernardi, the Massachusetts connections are the IF fork and Geekhouse powder coat. Glad to see it still on the road.

  • Any progress on the Geek house track?

  • Any progress on the Geek house track?

It’s at the painters having the paint stripped. I’m going to pick it up next week.

  • Verrrry exciting. What colour did you go for in the end?

  • I’m going to use Brownell’s oxpho blue. And brass leaf the logo.

  • Here’s an old IF catalog. I’m in the background of a few of these pics that were from an Ally Cat. 3rd from the bottom, 4 from the right is the backside of the Best Man from my wedding.

  • Just seen this thread. Bad picture of my Indy fan steel deluxe 29er as attached . Post is out as needed greasing and since that photo , have added some rebas and riser bars . This is my bestest frame ever and I have had a few nice ones . Do not ride it as much as I would like . I bought 2nd hand and sent a note to IF who sent me original build sheet . Kevin Wolfson was nice enough to reply to say it was built for an if development rider Tom leahy .
