The seat tube is an exclusive Cotic-designed Reynolds 853 34.9 mm seat tube, said to give great precision to the ride.

Great news. I often finish a ride thinking 'that lacked precision, that did'. I obviously need one.

The Chameleon looks to have a pretty slack seat tube angle, one thing I really like about the RC295 (76°) is that it's not a constant battle to keep the front wheel down when climbing.
I quite like the colour though.

All this staring at bikes has made me very much want to go and ride mine, shame it's going to be so ghastly tomorrow.

Pace RC529 inbound, with (due to Internet bullying) a Cane Creek Helm fork. Will share wheels with the RC295, and therefore will run Magura brakes and Shimano gears.

Thought you had spare Zee brakes
-
• #3286
I do.
-
• #3287
hmm. How come it needs Maguras then?
-
• #3288
Magura discs are (IIRC) 2.3mm, Shimano discs are 1.6mm, I will be running Magura discs on all the wheels, therefore (I think) I need Magura brakes.
Anyone who wants the Zee’s make me an offer, two weeks (Alpine DH) use.

I run Magura Storm rotors with XT brakes. Was totally ignorant of the fact Magura rotors are more thicker, never had an issue

Fucking Apple, what total cunts. They've changed from a file type that everyone uses to a file type that no one uses, which forces you to export every cunting photo. Twats.

Do you think Apple have a risk department telling them how much they can turn the screw?

Jesus christ.
Why? For the hardtail pace? I wouldn't blame you. Best to keep the same eco system across all bikes. One bleed kit for all bikes.
I picked up another set of codes from the forum taking the collection up to 4 now... -

Remember when I got my set of these...they are so, so nice.

Well, hopefully my rear brake (now that I've bought the lever that the bike shop in Morgins kept) will be as good as the front on the 295, and the Trail SL's will be the same on the front and almost as good on the rear. I don't think I'll need to drag the rear brake in the UK as I did in the Alps.
-
• #3298
Also, the Trail SLs are delivered pre-bled I believe, so if the god of cable length smiles on me I can just throw them on. Which of course won’t happen. But a man can dream.
-
• #3299
Run them long, better for X-ups.

This is the way forward. I have a set of Hope X2 races that haven't been bled in 8 years and are still working as well as they should.
Always buying external routed XL bikes is the way forward for factory bled happiness.
