I could just order it without wheels, I guess.

Only a brief go on a friends, not long enough to give a proper opinion other than they’re shit load better than my Guides (but just about everything is).

I'd order without wheels and stick with DT hubs. The hunt wheels seem like a great buy but only if they have long term durability.
Is it Light Bicycle 30mm internal on DT Swiss 240S wheels on your scalpel? If the hub axle standards are the same you could just use the one set of wheels and move them between bikes?

Sadly the rear wheel on the Scalpel is both non-boost and asymmetric- or I would definitely do so.
I’ll order it without wheels and buy a set which I definitely want.

Ah, of course how stupid of me to think cannondale would make it easy to swap parts.
What sort of price would the lightbicycle wheels come in at? In warranty situations it's sending stuff back to China? Few brands doing lifetime crash replacement that doesn't involve posting things back to china. This is where the hunt wheels win. -

Around $1,200 I think, and I suspect I’d get shafted on warranty if it came to it- but my current ones are doing ok

Santa cruz reserve wheelset online for 1500 euros if you know where to look. 24 hour turn around time in case of warranty claim. Potentially the last mtb wheels you ever need to buy.
For an extra couple hundred quid the warranty is worth it. -

Where would one look for that?

Sent you a link. Theres also a Megatower frameset for sale in said link

Now I need to find out if DT Swiss 350’s have an easy to buy microspline freehub
-
• #2388
DT Swiss are excellent hubs, but they aren't available in purple

That Bullseye triple on a downhill bike!!!!

Oh man those brakes.
Single sided hydraulic, that need to be adjusted in position via spacer between caliper and mount, and adjusted the static pads like a mechanic brakes.

DPD!

Massive clearance for 1.95 tyres too.

I have wanted a Pace since forever, and I think I am now going to get one.

I have wanted a Pace since forever, and I think I am now going to start collecting them

What's that guard you got up front?

• #2398
I'm excited for you!
I remember getting the Kona humu I'd wanted for years, and it was exactly what I'd hoped. -

I had a down tube mounted crud catcher like that on a trek bruiser DJ bike in about 2003, I remember it had specific bosses for it and everything
-
• #2400
On the Pace? Original Crud Catcher. Mounted on little pips on the underside of the downtube.
This is the custom program they offer, so all coming from them but specified together.
I’d prefer the wheels I’m used to, which are Light Bicycle 30mm internal on DT Swiss 240S, but I don’t think Pace can order those from a UK supplier.
