What do you think of the RC295 Alb?

XT12 > any sram. Kenevo 2o20 FTW.

Geo looks ok on paper. Some modern numbers. Seat tube lengths might be considered a bit long now though. Has there been any reviews in the wild yet? That’ll tell the other half of the story.
Did you see the Norco Optic review on pinkbike?
-
• #2230
No reviews yet, so something of an unknown quantity.
The chap in the Pinkbike video seems to like the Norco, presumably I'd be an XL?

Had a look at the dropper today- no leaks!

So had a look at the other end- I think the cable had slipped a little in the lever body so I put some more tension in the cable and cinched it up - let’s see if that works.

Hadn't checked in here for a while.
Slightly disappointed you're now leaning towards Pace instead of Santa Cruz. Any particular reason thats pushing you away from Santa Cruz?
I'm maybe biased as I currently ride two SC mtb's and have owned a good few over the years.
Used to work in a Santa Cruz dealer and Jungle are always great to deal with. Santa Cruz warranty is by far the best business!I'm really tempted by one of the dirtsuit onesies! How would you rate it over all? Any niggles?
Are they quite a tight secure fit around the shin? Do the ride up easily?
I ride mostly at Innerleithen and always feel that getting out of my wet riding gear and into dry clothes takes forever. I long for a solution that gets me into the car and heading home sooner.Edit - what size did you go for? and how tall are you?
I'm 1.89m tall 86-90kg 42in chest -

I’ll need to check the size, for reference I’m 187cm/83kg/42” chest. I’m wearing a down gilet underneath the onesie in that picture which makes it appear more snug than it feels.
My first one had poorly fitted seals on the zipper and it leaked- fairly miserable experience. I posted it back to Dirtlej and they sent me a new one and it’s been great- get back to the car, step out of it and you can then just drive off with a bone dry arse.
Santa Cruz- I almost bought the Hightower but I think the Tallboy would be better for the riding I do at the moment and the Megatower would be better for the riding I’d like to do more of.
I can’t justify a Tallboy when it’s so similar to my Scalpel, and that leaves me Enduro bike shopping.
I’ve wanted a Pace since the early 90’s, so there’s a huge slug of nostalgia in there (I cant buy a modern Klein sadly), but nothing is certain yet.

It’s a Large

I see that Guy Kesteven is reviewing the Pace, so the ride report won't lack enthusiasm

Buying a modern performance bike based on nostalgia is always the wrong reason.

I made my own pair of Pace tracksuit trousers when I was 13/14 by very carefully drawing out the logo from an MBUK, transferring the pattern to some material I got from my mum, then carefully stitching said material to my trackies. My brother still won’t believe I made them, thinks I bought them.

You could relive those days, by knitting yourself a nice Pace cardigan

Ok, to distract from our political disaster, what colour Hope parts do I want? Black/purple/orange/blue/black/red are the options. I'm thinking either orange or black.
Also - 150 or 170mm dropper? Assuming 170.
