really sad to hear, I hadn't seen Andy in years (other side of the planet) but was always impressed with his constant battle and fortitude.

That’s very sad to hear. Andrew’s attitude in the face of such adversity was inspiring.
My condolences to his family and friends.

I remember him coming to North's weak, but recovered (from a previous round of treatment). The next time I saw him he was beasting hills.
I hadn't seen him for years and didn't know about this thread. Rest in peace.
Love to all those that love him

It's been a while since I talked to anyone on the forum. Got a phone call from dancing James out of the blue today to tell me the news. Very sad.
My thoughts are with Rowhan and his loved ones.

Goddammit! I’ve just only got back to London and found out via FB. RIP Andy. You will be truly missed by everyone and especially this community. Nobody could put on miles like you.

Just found out via Bruce’s fb. Knew him from SE drinks. His story via fb always left me in awe at how someone can just never give up, and come back strong. I really thought he would always beat it. Sad to lose such an inspirational guy.

Terrible. Didn't know Rowhan (or Bullheart either) but they were very inspiring through their struggles. I didn't know about this thread, saw @dancing james post in the RIP thread. Fuck cancer.

Haven’t posted for a while, but kept up to speed with Andy’s journey.
Really rather saddened by all of this - far, far too young

I hadn't seen Andy in years having moved away from London, but had mostly kept up with his journey via social media. I'm sorry to say I wasn't one to engage with him about it, but I was always rooting for him and happy to see each bit of positive news. He was so strong and even when struggling seemed to be putting so much effort into helping others, too. Like many I always believed he would pull though despite what seemed at times to be awful luck.
Ride in peace Andy.

Ah shit.
Like cupcakes above I haven't been in direct contact with Andy since moving out of London, but was always in awe of the way he seemed to bounce back, both physically and mentally, after each awful set back.
So sorry it finally got you, Andy.
Wherever you are, keep pedalling and smiling.

Devastated. Poor Andy. His courage and strength to keeping fighting on, no matter what the bastard disease (and DWP) threw at him was incredible. I'm definitely in for some honorary SE London drinks.
RIP Andy and my thoughts with his family.
