That's that Roswheel saddlebag from Aliexpress, right? How's it holding up?
-

It is indeed. I haven't needed to use it since last year but it did just fine. Planning on continuing to use it this summer. Slightly more wobbly than the Carradice SQR Tour I was using before, but lighter.

I've been tempted by one, as they come in 63cm....

Hmm. Thinking that black/tan Gravel Kings in 28c might be a sensible choice then.
Ordered some crabon xXx cages from Ali.
I basically have all the bits now, may even get this built at the weekend, pending fun and games with the hydraulics!

I heard a lot of mixed reviews before I got the corsa’s.
I’ve been really impressed with them, racked up almost 1k km through the winter had one puncture. They do sometimes have to have bits removed from them and I’m 75/80kg. It’d be fair to say I’ve chanced my luck with routes at times too.
I run the 25’s on Hope 20fives and they are probably the best tyre I’ve had.
Admittedly I don’t have the experience of many here. -

What size is that frame of yours @TurtleRecall?

dibs if you sell :)

I'll bear that in mind, no plans to sell it for now though. Feels like a keeper :)

Been keeping myself entertained.
Hydraulic fun times phnnarrr phnnaar.
Swapped the brake cables from Euro to UK, internally routed, cut them down and bled them. Managed to not get dot fluid all over the kitchen.
More important than sorting the hydraulics, sorted the DBAD.
Stupid me didn't spot that lack of gear cable housing in the shifter/ brakeset order. Until next week.

IT'S FINISHED
Ok it's not.
One of the shifters leaked, had to re-clean, bleed and it's now fixed, phew!
Geometry is a bit aggressive for the state of my back, now have some Hover bars (Specialized not Canyon!) in the post to finish it off this weekend.
It's been out for a few rides tho, including a hard training session.
Put a big smile on my face, it's surprisingly stiff, feels like a race bike but is also very stable.
With pumped up 28c tyres you feel a lot of the road, loads more compared with my XLS Cross bike on the same rubber. -

STOP RAINING!
Thanks to said rain I can't see the #Instagramapproved images with extra bokeh being done soon, so here it is.
Fitted some Spesh Hover bars which have got the fit bang on, just need to tape now.
Going to be very tempted to fit some 32c tanned Gravel Kings later in the year. -

Been using a few months now, taped the bars with DSP 2.5 which is lovely and added a Fabric Line Race saddle - jury still out on that. Been chasing some hydraulic leaks but think they are now all plugged!
Loaded up for a 400km weekend in France..

Ambitious gearing for France :) good luck

A bit steep for carrying kit but OK for Dieppe > Paris. Need to give up on the idea of road racing on this and drop the front chain ring down to 46/48.
Cheers! Its current form isn't quite so sleek, full mudguards on it now (SKS Longboard 45s I think?). I wouldn't recommend those particular gumwalls in anything other than perfectly dry smooth road. A couple of weeks after this pic was taken I got 4 punctures in one ride on the Vittoria Corsas, each time was rolling over a slightly damp patch of Herts lanes and picking up tiny little flints. Enraging.
Oh and the cages are definitely not genuine. No way I'd spend £80 or whatever it is on the real ones. Aliexpress ones have held up well though :)
