Ignore me . No I haven't thought about bottle cages. I need a rear mech first...

And the award for the worst photos ever goes to...
650 x 1.75 Gravel King in place
There's 4-5mm clearance either side at the chainstays and 8mm at the seatstays.
The photos do make it look tighter than it is IRLApologies for the photos but rushing and difficult to get a good photo with mudguards and rack still in place.

Measured the wheels from floor to centre of skewer.
700x28 Durano - 344mm
650x1.75 GK - 338mm= 6mm difference, which to me seems negligible but open to comments if that seems significant to others...

Ignore that crap. You’re a sram man, I can tell. SRAM Force 10 speed, short cage though. £15 for you

It (sort of) lives.
Ignore pretty much everything (i.e. mudguards, stem saddle angle). Now I really need that rear mech and to decide on brake cables.
I could stick with the DA double I have on there but I'm thinking 1 x 10

I would definitely go CDF and bigger tyres, with option for carbon forks in the future (purchased with proceeds of EQ sale?)

Housemate returned home and quite reasonably wanted to cook dinner so my progress has been impeded...so I put the bike on the sofa in protest.

Thats pretty good, considering that theres a fair bit of stuff on there that could be swapped for lighter bits!
Also cut the steerer
